Yes that's the car. he used to own Shiraz's Green 993, but sold it as this was faster??

I suppose it would be in a straight line - being 300kg's lighter......

I post photos by uploading them to the site.
Based in Wanaka so 30min of pure fun over the Crown Range to Arrowtown, I'll be keen for an early morning run and / or follow you to Haast on the 9th, I'll just spin around and head back from there.

Must sort RL membership out so I can load pics straight up, cheers.

I think all 3 of us are happy with our current cars.

If you can keep them all - sure, but in reality, we move on for a reason.......

It is nice car, 993 Tip. I have seen it a couple of times parked at Wellington Airport.

Maybe you can be partially consoled in that they are being well loved. And driven. Gary's C4 was yours Peter?

Yes - Paul's right too - you move on for a reason but a red C4 was my first ever p-car 15 years ago so I'll always have a soft spot.

It's nice to see it in good company with the air cooled bretheren!

Yes, you really made the best of what would have been a terrible situation on the day. (Understatement probably)

Couldn't have any better weather than last time - That was amazing. I'm taking an M5, but it's a newer car. After Highlands last year, where I really felt my car needed to be lowered, I was reading up about the new Competition Pack model and managed to get one late last year at a price I was happy with. It looks similar to my old car, (same colour and trim) to the untrained eye - but it is the facelift model. The suspension and steering is much improved. It sits 10mm lower which helps. Another 11kw, though I don't notice this at all, compared to the suspension mods. And a sportier exhaust. Felt much better on the track, then I put some sports pads in and MPSC2 tyres which lead to consistent 1.16s at HD last trackday when the drift cars had littered the track. All good fun. It was cool catching up with Graeme - what a wealth of knowledge!! And yes he brought the 911 along and we went for a drive. That was cool, but I need to learn more about taking pics from you - I only got one from inside and a short video.

Hey Graeme, Nice to meet up and thanks for the drive. Awesome time! As you were driving out from the hotel a young German tourist was ogling your car. He said that was a VERY cool car!!

Presume that was the sprint? How was it? Was a bit of a shambles last year but I imagine they sorted a few things out based on that experience. Looking forward to the Bambina in a couple of months.
