That said the $250 per side lens only DIY is a viable alternative though you need to be an enthusiast to give it a try. They will be writing off 964 on light rear impact soon just for the cost of the bumper, indicators and rear reflectors!! Make sure it's insured for the track next season John!!

Jake. Just received the invoice for the tyres. Appears price held. Will email introduce you to the suppliers By PM and you can ask for a quote for PSS & MPSC2 etc.
Indicators = GBP 201 each so roughly $600 landed. Centre is GBP 341 so ~ $1,000 landed. All up it could cost as much as $2,200+ to replace all of the rear lights.

There are different centre versions for US & ROW so the options narrow down markedly if you want the correct look. I'll be doing it all for ~ $1,200

Warwick, Steve has racing spares so I may try a real roughy first, but I have my spare as a back up. Faint heart never squired a fair maiden and all that.

Just for you Dave, war wounds fixed on the plastic underbelly. Interesting to note that the plastic is not weldable so epoxy and mat was the only way to sort this.

GT4 "Clubsport" is the only one of those rumors I put any credence in right now (its a done deal as I understand)...911R I think was confused reporting on 911 GTS "Rennsport Reunion V edition". 911 GT3 RSR for the road smells wrong. There will be a limited edition low volume GT3 before the 991 gen cars are over but Im not sure it will be anything like they think it might in the article....Id love to be wrong tho....can only imagine what the new metal will be costing in NZ next year?

On to things that are real the new BMW M2 broke cover today....

If I were still a poor 964 owner I'd be making an offer for your cast off's. There must be a bit of value in some of the second hand parts coming off Herman

There is a lot of value. I've gone a bit over the top. Most of it I will keep as Herman is aiming for no excuses refurb whereas a rough 964 would be enhanced by the cast offs here. At some stage I will own other 964s in addition to Herman. As Steve says, don't sell parts to a car you still own.

John. Impressive list. But as you look like you are repairing not replacing most stuff apart from gearbox bits and hard lines etc that are beyond economical repair I shouldn't think there's a lot there another 964 owner would crave? I have followed Steves advice and now have a few hundred Kgs of take off parts from my 993. I wish Steve was paying my storage costs LOL!

Great day at track today. I was the only aircooled there.
John, am I too late for a banner? Blue writing on black (or would black on blue look better)? Also I have some polished 964 exhaust heat shields I can donate if they hold any interest?

There's a lot of life left in some of the parts e.g. fan, rear reflector, but I won't be selling them.
