John. Yes. The 964T probably sits the next level up in limited volume similar to the 996.1 GT3 but below the 993RS so again demand and supply of such limited models dictates that over the time since sold new it has performed better than other models.
But as you say if opportunity cost/use of funds and CPI index are considered then subtracting maintenance (deferred and annual if you will), annual insurance, WOF, Rego, tyres and consumables (mileage or no they need replacing) then over 21 years even a 964T3.6 has depreciated by over 60%.

Dave. I love what you have done with the banner! I thought you had that lid all sorted by now!
Is teh preparation of the SC a sign things are go slow on 70T or are you just fettling the back up plan?

The SC is being prepared for the run south tomorrow. Steve and I had a chat and it was decided that the best thing to do was leave the T behind. It drives but could not be vinned in time. Neither of us really wanted to continue the shakedown on the tour and the possible drama's that might bring. I'm disappointed but excited that I will be in the Sc all the same. Still, it's on site in Pirongia and I'm having my first drive of it tomorrow morning.

Didn't realise Kev was selling his GT3. Moving to Open Class? The arms race continues.

Great stuff Dave. Will look even better again once you get the brown interior in with hand stitched leaver bound vintage half cage and the fuches. I bet Steve isn't going to be building another one any time soon so it will remain unique.
Re photos: It takes hairy ***** to drive a Testerossa at Taupo track in the absolute teaming rain. Especially on a day with tandem Porsche wrecks. I think it was on of Petes mates. Hats off to him I say.

Yes, exciting alright. I'm probably going to push off from Auck at about 8 and will be in Pirongia for a couple of hours I would say, just perving over it and taking it for a fang. Good chance to take stock of what is there and what's left to do.

Emergency scrounge!! Anyone have some bolt on spacers that I can borrow to get to Pirongia tomorrow. Borrowed rear wheels are hard up against the strut. Probably need 10mm+ and need to be bolt on.
Plan B - anyone prepared to take a more leisurely drive to Priongia with a rear wheel on their front seat (I can take the other.)
