Theres a nice maritime blue one calling out for you on TM and the price has been falling. They aren't getting younger or better condition IMHO and since the black one was written off i cant think of any better...

Phil. Depends on how bias a point of view you want. Charles will only try and sell you on his stuff (and it may be perfect for you). Depending on your needs I can give you a total market overview/position. Probably best to email me offline...

Just got this from a friend of mine re the yellow 993 Turbo:
"This is a sultan car. It was re-painted black in Singapore a year or two ago and CCS have re-painted yellow again."

Thanks Nik. Interesting. perhaps they should have left it black although with that interior it would be hrd to find any external colour that would work. Its a shame because for a 1000km collectors car the paint is no longer original and a quick dealer funded job down at Hazlers will not be of the same quality as factory....be interesting to see who buys it!

This has also come up:

Seems like there's some activity in the Porsche market globally.

It looks a particularly sweet example being manual and a great colour combo. Has a nice spec too with 18 sport classics, Techart brake duct/fog lights and RS front splitter and wider exhaust tips. Whats really remarkable is how clean the interior is. It must have been enthusiast owned. Not sure how it adds up with COE etc but on face value looks a more solid deal than the 964 you linked which looks a dubious colour combo and not so tasteful mods etc.
Try to get a look at the 993 asap and send me the VIN I can then tell you what it shipped with and give you any advice etc. Theres not much I dont know about the 993 and can tell you the places to look on the car - but to be honest there are really no mechanically weak aspects of the 993 to be too worried about. Cant be many 993 left in Sing. Last time I enquired around 30 left on their roads....

Sean based on a negotiated purchase price of 140k SGD the OMV makes the possibility of using up the remaining COE in Sing then exporting to NZ fairly realistic. Ive worked out you would land it GST paid around 55-58k NZD. You wouldnt really make anything much on it in NZ as a resale but you also wouldnt loose anything on it for the duration off the current COE and it would be free transport in Sing & NZ when you get back....

Its the Real Deal Sean (the wiper arm lugs are spaced closely together on the scuttle board one thing that cannot be faked).
