That will be an epic event! Looking forward to it already.
Paul, did you get a GT3? I might have missed the post but I see it's added to your avatar signature.
Also for you or Macca or anyone else with a 993. Some BBS RS replicas on TM http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-...-890534959.htm

Another 993 orphan soon for sale?
I got a massive-on over that 993C4S at Archibalds the other day. Paul's now looks excellent too.

Trademe SC went for $66,000. Maybe there is a hope for those of under water on our rides
Paul, a 996.1 GT3 has the same weight/power as an R. I'll have to find some track rubber before the Dual Sprints at HD next Jan

That is quite a bit really isn't it? I was thinking mid fifties was a fair price but then again, that was two weeks ago.

I've started a thread on the 964 forum detailing what's up with the Turbo 3.6 now that it's in Blightly. It has done 105,000km and isn't perfect on the engine front, so I don't think you could buy a 93,000km car and confiently say that it is 100%, yet paying $66,000 is pretty much expecting that. Good luck to the seller and buyer though, it's only money.

Phew, thank goodness there's an excuse for me now Paul's already putting the pressure on me re the Gymkhana tomorrow. The R should be a weapon with all of the cornering, but I figure Clive has seen off many a young gun in the past.
Just dropped into the Targa office on the off chance that the remains of my splitter might have found their way there. They did have a pile of trim up to and including side skirts, but mine is still enjoying its Rotorua holiday.
I thanked them for their efforts in putting the Targa Bambina together but did also suggest that going back to a higher effective Tour limit was one for their ideas box, explaining that having to lift off twenty odd times at around 155 kph on just one stage was breaking the flow, particularly for those driving cars capable of more than twice the set limit. I believe that MSNZ (Motor Spoilers NZ?) have them over a barrel and had originally tried to place it even lower, but there ought to be some push back if the Tour is to endure.
John, as Paul knows, I had a cunning plan to get my wife along to the Gymkhana in her car so I could run the Turbo too, but that plan didn't have enough wings. Enjoy your day tomorrow everyone that's going.

Incidentally, if you find any 968 seats and if it's from a 1995< car they are the same as 993 seats.
I have a full set from my '86. they're tidy with approx 120,000km on them. Only the drivers seat is electric and has a bit of wear, passenger one is manual. The difference in weight between the two is very noticeable. Full black porsche script cloth. Message me if interested and I can send you photos.

Ideally after a full set, mine are the black with pin stripe...they have faded to brown!
