Chris Harris driving the 991 GT3 RS:

RS looks and sounds amazing...interesting PDK only... It is faster though I suppose.

Hampton Downs changes over to Tony Quinn soon. Track to get extension completed, but hopefully not less accessible...

Back to the grind and found time to put some thoughts down... Wow what a weekend. Great to catch up with many of you again and have some laughs que Macca and his Hobbit hookers... (No John I won't elaborate... what goes on Tour stays on Tour
) .... driving some excellent roads and seeing more of our stunning country.
Macca, thanks of the opportunity and some splendid peddling creating enough thrills to wet my appetite but not my undies. It's also a testament to good friendships that can pick up where they left off so cheers buddy![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
To all you RSG'ers Paul, Pete etc etc great to catch up again. It honestly sucks sometimes living this far away from the main RSG group and it was great to catch up with you all again and chew the fat. You're an entertaining bunch of guys and Macca you could almost replace Clarkson on Top Gear with your story telling lol![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)
Highlights from the weekend...
Seeing lots of places in NZ I probably would never have seen.
Coincidentally driving past Walton where I grew up and went to Primary School.
Calling out some pretty funny pace notes... like "dead" (there was a possum on the road)... was the first thing to come out of my mouth lol.
Being in a 20 year old car that did pretty well keeping up with some more modern machinery with more HP.
Downside from the weekend was a sore *** from Macca's dodgy seat!
Last stop before I left for home was picking up some gifts for Annette and the kids. Easy as
They can fight over who gets which one

Sure mate. You provide insurance cover for me and Ill participate ;-p
That Japanese hill climb got me inspired! Has anyone tried organising a private hill climb in NZ? Surely this cant be too hard. RSG Hill climb 2016. Sounds like a brilliant event. The Hill climb end of first Day of targa was so much fun - imagine doing it again and again!
Check this out for hardcore. We need a RSG tour of Japan! They are the largest country of car nuts in the world I should say!

If you can get the Regularity minimum time down to 1.15 I'd reconsider my aversion to that too. Was black flagged one lap in last time.
And bonus points if the Porsche races can run under 2KCup rules where a cage is not needed!

No, they're just going fast. Ruben Zeltner and his co-driver wife Petra of Lichtenstein (in Saxony, Germany so not from the nation Leichtenstein) won the DRM (German Rallly Masters) in 2014:

FWIW, I've only compared a few stages of the Targa Bambina just gone but the fastest competition cars were finishing them 15-20% earlier than we were, and the slowest 20-25% later than us. More direct comparisons are hard because they ran under a less restrictive 200kph limit on R-comps while some of us on the Tour weren't even allowed to use half the speed of our cars with that ridiculous 160 kph limit.
