Very interesting to see it from another perspective Leong!
How much HP and torque does a M5 CP have? It's quiet in your cabin by comparison :-)

John that's a classic shot. How funny is that photo??? Where has he posted his shots?

Looks like you just lost it on the oil don't you think?
423kW, 680Nm from 1500rpm-6000, it's be quieter if they didn't play engine sounds thru the speakers

Hey, can I use that too? Pretty sure my one was on lap one of our second session, as I think I forgot to roll cameras for session one. Still my fault as we were told the oil was there and light drizzle was hitting what had been a drying track.

500lbft torque from 1500!! Bloody hell that must fly down the straights in the dry!! What's Vmax on the front straight (or is it a case of when you loose your bottle hurtling 1800kg into T1)?

I'm just catching up, doesn't pay to be away for a while. Great day on Tuesday, thanks to all the organisers.

Leong, your car is a weapon. You passed me on the straights like I was in a Honda!

Yeah a big thanks from me too to everyone for making Tuesday happen, great work. All I can think of is getting back out there to get more track time!

Signed up for NITT too and still considering targa bambina too, but time is fast running out on that one... Maybe I need a push!

I've only just caught up on rennlist and not yet started on the FB page... I did like your videos Macca with the data overlay, I can see one of those on my shopping list very shortly.

Cheers guys.

Thanks for the update Pete. Those positions ought to make for an exciting race with plenty of action. Good luck guys!

I should've checked here first actually as I just went through the palaver of working those same grid places out from the unsorted laptimes at http://www.race-monitor.com/Results/Session/5361678.

Main page for the meet and today's race after lunch looks to be http://www.race-monitor.com/Results/Race/28356 but a search for '2KCup Masters' will bring it up anyway.

Same search will work tomorrow for the fast race which is a reverse grid based on series points to date. Since we missed several race meets, BB2 only just scraped in by a whisker - meaning that we are on P1 - pole position for the start. Would be nice to hold onto that position of course but we'd probably need it to snow or something!

Heading out your way soon with kids in tow to cheer from the sidelines and try to take some pics.

Thanks for the updates guys. I probably missed this earlier, but what are the approximate starting times for the races today and tomorrow?

The schedule always slides around a bit on the day but it should start soon after lunch. If I had to guess, the 1 hour 2kcup race will probably start between 1 and 2 today. Samish time tomorrow.

I'd say in about 45 mins from now.

Put BB's tyre so on BB2 - Neil qualified on the old ones and with about 40psi....

With that sorted he will be one to watch given a clean race.

Race start delayed but conditions perfect. Looks like Chris B is going to race the Grinch tomorrow as well.

Need a push for Targa Bambina?? try this vid. from 2010. 7th home in Modern. (different classes then) Last year on Bambina everyone raved about the Manawahe stage. It had been shortened from that run in prior years so here is the full fat stage. We had a blown gasket in the turbo uppipe so were losing boost so were trying hard to maintain momentum and carry speed. charged over a crest at around 17m 30 secs knowing it was straight but underestimated the air on the subsequent jump. Result was a seriously gauged sump guard and the front bumper hanging on by the safety cable ties.

Paul. Your theory on 991GT3 sub 1.10 at HD in road trim may have a chance to come true. Tim James takes delivery of his Sapphire Blue example on Monday at CCS! I heard Mr Hartley may have one coming in the recommendation of Dario Franchetti and Mark Webber has confirmed in the press he has a RS on order to keep his GT2 RS and 4.0RS company. Hopefully between them all we will hear of some private lap times. I heard Tim was interested in joining RSG but I can't recall who told me....
