Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Yes, weather was good (just one small shower during lunch) and I had a blast! Learned a lot, mainly about how even Porsches have to obey the laws of physics -- spun the 944 twice Same corner (turn 4) both times too, so I must be a slow learner...
Shame we didn't get more sessions on the track in the afternoon though, it went very quickly. Roll on the next one!
Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics, but I know a lot were taken. I'm hoping some end up on the PCNZ website.

As for the bent sprints, I need a bit more practice before tackling something like that. How was the day and how did your wife go? And did you have a chance for some fun yourself during the weekend?
Great to have you in the car briefly on Saturday, thanks again!

Yep, Skidpan should be a great addition. HD had hoped to have it completed for last weekend.
The boss enjoyed herself and didn't bail in the afternoon when it rained like a bunch of guys.
You should sign up for some sprints - clubs like Lotus, Sports Car Club, Excort Car Club and Capri Car Club run them throughoutthe year and accept entries from other affiliated clubs.
There is a hillclimb being held at Hampton Downs on the 29th Aug you could enter - they are running the track backwards with the start on the straight between barrel 51 and the sweeper around to the start/finish line on the front straight - I've done a few laps reverse direction and the track takes on a somewhat different complexion.

Photos from the driver training and the sprints the day after did end up on the PCNZ website -- links are "WOTY - Day One" and "WOTY - Day Two" on the home page if anyone is interested.

Great action shot!
Thanks Obsessed...........good shot and the ones on the PCNZ website look good too. I think the next run is heading your way so youre welcome to join us, probably late October.
Hi Jae,
The run was very cool.............eleven 911's!
It rained very hard for about 30 minutes on the way to Mangawhai but by the time we got there it was sunny again. The weather stayed good and the Cafe was brilliant.
