It's the first workshop on the right when you drive in gate 1. Any dramas call me: zerotwosevenninethreeonesixfourdoubleeight.

Excellent thanks - a nice bit of shade is a bonus! Had a nice package with some goodies arrive from Gert today.... HDs and adjustable sways to go with the H&R reds. Just waiting on a strut brace from SW to complete the package. Won't be done in time for the w/e though.

Hey Jason, I've got another Porsche guy who's keen to do the 16th. Is it too late to get in, and if not, do I tell him to contact Tony directly?

Yeah, I guess that'll be OK. I think that will make 11 which will be fine. I will email Tony to expect another late entrant assuming he's OK with that. Get your guy to email Tony asap. What kind of Porsche?

WOF done, thanks to my Neighbour, Scott. He was probably expecting a solo drive, but my Wife and Sister-in-law tagged along.

All set to meet you guys on Sunday. Given 8am is the equivalent of 2am in Jakarta, I doubt I'll be first there, but this sure better than reading Rennlist posts of events you can never attend. See you all Sunday.

Track Day 16 Dec:

Looks like we are all set for Sunday with 10 or 11 cars. I'll try to get there by 0830 but it sounds like Sean might be there a bit earlier. We'll gather at Pit garage 1 which is at the far right end of the pits (see here - http://www.hamptondowns.com/pages/65/the-circuit.htm) and try to establish ourselves in a group before other cars muscle in. Perhaps if the first cars there park with large gaps between them, but not large enough to squeeze another car in, we can than shuffle together as others arrive. Can't guarantee that some of the other garages aren't being used so will have to give way if required.

Don't forget helmet, driver's license, cotton or nomex overalls, your indemnity form, plenty of water, and sunscreen and maybe a chair if you can squeeze it in. For those going with Ray $100 in folding ones.

Sean: What's the deal with the aftermatch?

Weather forecast is looking perfect, partly cloudy, 24C and light winds. Looking forward to it.

Good to meet you on Sunday Sean. Can honestly say I voted for the 964 for People's Choice before I click it was yours! Looking very sharp. Although the 356's were great there was so many good ones that it made me go looking for something a bit special.

Peter. The HDs should transform the car and the adjustable bars will be very useful for transitioning between road and track work. The SW strut brace is a really nice piece. Post pictures of it when you can...

Heres a good solution for those wishing to mount the GoPro to the front of their car for recording track sessions. Removes the issue with dirty window screens. The new GoPros are wifi built in so with iPhone app and iphone mounted in cockpit you can get view finder and turn the GoPro Hero3 on and off between sessions, check battery life etc...

Cheers Macca - brace arrived yesterday so all set now. Looking forward to the change. Actually pretty surprised how well the standard suspension is running day to day (mostly motorway) but less so on the twisty back roads. Was keen on the full coilover set but for mostly a DD with occasional track day I couldn't justify it.

Small world though - understand you know my IT Manager, Grant? Think he caught up with you in the Islands earlier this year and at a function a night or so back?
