There will be no distractions looking for clues just keep your eyes on the road and enjoy the spirit of the drive. Lunch is at Hillside Hotel on the top of the Taupiri ranges offering panoramic views of iconic New Zealand landscape. That's all I know. Steve is going. I'll check how far Taupiri is to Pirongia. Edit it's an extra 53km. Maybe Doug and I can take a detour.
The least I can for you is to take you to Pirongia mate. I'll email Ron to see how close we get on the drive.

I was hoping to do the drive on Sunday. Looks like I will be busy fixing powerlines up here in Northland.

Shannon vThat's very light. Who's doing the work? Will we see you at future track days?

Definitely keen for more track days, just need to take it to Wellington for a syncro rebuild and I'll be good to go.
Especially after the one day Targa I'm keen as mustard.

You got a pretty good price on your repaint as well, if I remember correctly. I'm toying with a full respray on Herman in the near future. However I don't want to drive in and drive out. I'll start working through the logistics of parts and how much dismantling I can do myself.

F1 is good. I really like the 918 in the flesh. Looks A LOT better than photos suggest.

New F1 cars sound too quiet. Carrera Cup cars sound really-really cool!!!
