Deposit was paid pending PPI that was to be done at Motorscience. Then off to Chch if all was well. Was parked out the back last weekend - not on the lot.
Is probably waiting for either the PPI or transport to buyer unless sale fallen through.

There are also these: Function First Inserts Not as fruity but a whole lot cheaper too. 987 specific I gather... Any thoughts as to the quality of these vs the rennline ones for the money?
The Rennline mounts are the same or cheaper than other third party replacement options, and the adjustability means I can be indecisive about how firm I want it to be.

Am sure they have a positive impact, but my untrained inexperienced eye tells me that you're still relying on the OEM mount for the most part, which in my case feels a little worn (I can feel either the engine or transmission shifting a little at times). I think they make inserts that suit my car (and maybe most 9#7 OEM mounts are the same). The OEM mount is not that expensive. Although as in this clip I took of mine, useless when broken. Video Link: http://youtu.be/LwT5Hr1D8Es

Buba. So many people say those wheels look good on that car. Quite a number of folk including Dean and a few of the Contis sales guys have told me I was stupid selling them. Thing is after th ebrake upgrade they dont fit! You could have painted the centres Polar and they would have looked even better. Luke is getting some nice light 3 piece wheels...

Although tempted by your beauty Paul, confused by the C4 RS, nearly seduced by the gt4 and the mexican beach babe, the idea of an orange RS has got me out of bed this morning. Must work harder!!!!

Thanks Macca. It was done by the old blokes Waikumete Upholstery. Overall i'm pretty happy. There are some parts i'm not totally happy with but they have said to wait 3 months or so to let the sun help 'fit' the leather. After that they will do some light steaming to help any remaining fitment issues. Its not much really and i'm probably just being super critical

You have to fall out of love with the wheels. They have been betroved to Luke (though I would now happily recind this offer - Luke - here's your escape clause).
Before painting the car - it was more 'polar blue' than polar silver. It's had a repaint of the front guards and bonnet, and the repaint had too much blue. The car now looks more silver-grey than silver-blue - and works much better with Macca's old wheels.
Here's a photo of the before where you can see the front of the car looks more blue than silver (even through polar silver has a blue base). The wheels just wheren't popping like they did on Macca's car.
