Will definitely put that on the list thanks Michael. Having now watched Senna about 5 or 6 times I need a change!

OK - happy to take you up on that offer :-)

John - do the corner balancing and max the neg camber - this is an easy 2 seconds on the day. Also get the brakes bled and some track day brake fluid.

Tires and track pads would be next if you are swimming in money...............

All of the above will yield 4 seconds a lap over current setup and equal my set up.

Other than unbolting the rear seats and removing everything out of the boot, I would leave track day developments at that for now.

Macca - yes it is dawning on me now that the ride I have been getting on my 'reds' must be softer than others running the 'real' ones. Having just done the HDs and full alignment with Peter I'm not sure I'm ready to take it all apart again just yet. That will probably wait until we do the front wishbones. Overall I love the ride - it feels great to me if still a touch soft on track. But per our earlier discussion I don't think that this car will end up as a a track beast because of the dual duty requirement.

Ill find a place for it next to Grand Prix, Bullet, Le Mans, Jo Siffert - Live Fast Die Young, Ronan etc in the library!
Ha ha, you're a dodgy man!

I think you'd enjoy the movie, particularly since you've done Targa and have also put your heart and soul into a car over many years.

James (Hamilton, GT3) lent me this along with Bullet, Le Mans, The Italian Job and Gone in 60 Seconds

Wish I were at the track, it's another stunning day.

I bought the DVD on TM last night too add to the collection. Yes Senna, that's another good one. My copy doesn't have subtitled translation into English however. The others you mention are all classics - especially the original Italian Job (opening scenes are totally memorable!)...

Pete. It was actually a new word I invented (Lesbian Android = "Lesboid"). But actually I quite like your "Lesbot". You could even say these this is Lesbotic art.

Actually Pete Im so happy with my new found "Lesbot" word Im going to give you the prize. Her name is "Node" and she's all yours mate. Tell your wife you've found a new "pool person".

I know this isn't PC. I dont do PC very well as those who know me will attest. Im sure the administrators will take it down and I sorry if it lowers the tone of the thread but theres only so many photos of plastic parts on Johns jeans I can take...LOL!

By the way that's art not pornography. I blame the music in the background....

"keep your electric eye on me babe, put your raygun to my head, push your space face close to mine love...."

Now lets see who can get that without google. Must be some music buffs here. Promise a different prize!

Too easy. Davy Jones, and I don't mean the one from The Monkees. Great album.

Right, off to wash the cars and think of a good spot to take photos of them for TradeMe.

Good call Matt. Yes, the man with the miss matching eyes. Remind me for your prize on 29th...

Post a pic or two here of the red car when youve made it spiffy. I shouldn't think it will take very long at all to move....

We'll be watching with interest - Its in lovely condition and with the suspension upgrades and being a C2 manual - I predict it'll last maybe a day. I've tried to get my neighbour Tony interested in it as he shares the drives in mine on twilight days and loves it but he couldn't bear to part with his E36 M3.

For photos we're pretty spoilt in Akl. Probably less about where than your competence behind the lens - take some inspiration from Jetta over in the 964 forum - he's posted some amazing shots.
