If everyone who attended put in $15-$20 then this would be quite sufficient I think, and it's not a big amount in relation to the overall cost of the day (i.e. entrance fee + petrol + maintenance).

An alternative he mentioned was some kind of annual fee for membership of RG. Personally this seems a bit too formal and high maintenance at this stage, and may put off new members, but I'd be interested in feedback on this.
100% agree with this and a bit overdue. To make this work I think an event based levy is the only way to go initially (think of it as user pays). Then just need to ensure that the 'Porsche Group' that Playday advertises is reserved for those who sign up to the basic principles of the Gruppe. Pretty sure that won't be an issue but just to ensure that casual attendees make a proportional contribution.

I think for now pay as you use is the best approach as it mitigates the need for organisation (bank account etc). As someone who will not use the track very often it makes a lot of sense.

This looks like a low cost base for a hot rod.

Need to get the rest of the team corralled here. No problem if someone isn't keen, but don't want disgruntled punters when they see they've missed out.
red font, white background on silver car?
maybe black on white?

definitely P car. think I might post it over on the originating home of our gruppe the carrerra sport/europacific playday site. Get some traffic going there. This is going to be background catch up then real time much more exciting that way but hopefully smooth and no hiccups along the way. so look out there next few days.

I don't mind any combination being put forward. However, please choose one of the existing choices as a backup. Maybe the red on black would work well with silver?

When I have all requests I will see what the signwriter can do vs cost to do so.

As long as the design is the same I imagine the colour selection is easy.

I think signwriters work off panatone colours so a number of that colour would help.
