Hey all -- just completed the install and can use some help diagnosing a lack of sound.

Everything works. It powers up, connects to CarPlay, microphone works, etc. The only peculiar thing is no sound is coming from the speaker. Before I commit to taking it all apart to check all the connections, wanted to check if there might be an obvious answer that I might've missed somewhere.

I do have a Bose system. No I didn’t move the fiber connections -- I don't see this instruction posted anywhere, is there specific instructions? I'm not very technical.

I also have a 991.1 if that matters.

Edit - is it what this guy is doing at 5:40?

Working no, but the speakers as you mentioned. Yes. Right now your optical cables that deliver the sound aren't connected so there is no sound for that reason. Mine were green in my 991.1. They could be green or orange. They are slightly thicker and it's a pair that could put in a single plug.

That did the trick! Moved the orange fiber cables and now everything works. Thank you!

Nice. Depending on when you got your board. There is a update in January 2022. You can see it when you go to the version information. PM me and I can link you to the Google drive.

What’s in the update? Is it software or hardware?

Hello Kimi,

I installed the Isudar board and overall it was a fairly straightforward installation (thanks to this forum).

I have the version below:
PCM3.1-GD211111-01
CX301: BSJ1211124-1124
Software Version: 2.2.1
Hardware: S7.B

There are times when I would leave the car and comeback and the Carplay would sometimes not reconnect or it would reconnect but no sound even though I choose AUX. Can you please send me the link to the latest firmware update?

Thanks!

Software Version: 2.2.1
Hardware: S7.B

Thanks!
Phil

That makes 3 of us that have connection problems. I’m trying to troubleshoot with @Kimiiii but no luck so far. I’ve had a firmware downgrade with no results. The connection issues are the following : either a connection is made with apple CarPlay (I can see a small CarPlay icon in the top right corner) but I have to physically touch the IOS button and it works, I leave the car for a short while and when I come back and again I have to touch the IOS connection but now the icon does not work it appears to be frozen and I have to restart the system. Besides this the screen freezes randomly eg when using Google maps. It seems the software is missing a stable connection solution.
