Thanks for posting the video . The C8 seems to have a nice intake note
The 3LT iblack interior with the yellow deviated stitching looks very nice, the yellow color for the caliper seemed to be a bit weird.
Not sure what Chevy is doing with yellow. I'm sure it is not an accident that no one has seen the yellow car yet. And if it looks anything like the calipers...ugly.
If I were going with a black car, it either be a black interior with red stitching, or the Morello Red. Probably Morello, its a great looking color.
The engine note on this thing right behind your head is going to embarrass 2017+ non-GT 911's so royally.
Just paper bag that a$$ and you're good to go.
Who cares? The 991.2 will be bus lengths ahead.
FYI K-A's post is a cross reference from a 991 section thread where he's taking yet another "L" as always. He simply cannot cope enough on rennlist.com

Fan fiction seems fun.
Bus lengths? Ahead of the C8? I know "my car is the fastest la la la I can't hear you" is big in a particular models circle which you seem centered in, but it remains to be seen as to whether the 991.2 will be faster than the C8 Stringray at ALL. Still haven't gotten 1/4 mile times, and if the 2.8 second 0-60 rings true, then that insinuates it's a contender for the GTS. I have a hard time believing a base 991.2 will put up even equal numbers to the base C8 in a 1/4 mile. It'll come WAY closer than a 125 HP deficiency insinuates, but we all know Porsche breeds healthier horses and utilizes black magic to do far more with far less, and overperform what their stats signify.
Porsche's engineering capability always proves more impressive and efficient than Chevy's "throw the biggest engine and HP you can find and still come short compared to 911's with way less horsepowers" but no, the 991.2 won't be putting "bus lengths" on the C8. Unless it's a Turbo S.

Over 530whp easily. Faster than a Huracan and a hair above a .2 TTS which we all know are severely underrated... On a 991.2 with two exhaust components and a flash.. What C8?
Don't know which side to choose, huh? Cognitive dissonance is on full display with you K-A.

A stock 991.2 makes 530whp? Lmao.
Oh, we're talking mods now. Most buyers prefer warranty and reliability. Might as well take those cats off to get some sound out of the thing while burning more brain cells. Very comparable to a stock C8.
Yeah, ability to be impartial is pretty great. 911= more solid car. C8= better sounding car. Faster car in a straight line during a douchey public drag race 99.99% of sane adult drivers won't engage in? Remains to be seen. See? Works like a charm.
I was looking at 360s, 430s, and 458s but decided I wanted a toy not a project. I shifted my search to the C7, C8, 911 GTS, and Spyder. Decided I did not like the 'Porsche buying experience' and found it was unlikely I'd get a Spyder at MSRP anytime in the next 2 years, and the 911 GTS optioned the way I wanted was significantly more money than all the others I was considering. The C8 is an exciting unknown, but it's still an unknown entity that I'll have to wait another 6 months to get. Unless the C8 is a disaster the C7 will likely depreciate like no other Corvette in history so I was suffering from 1st-world-problems-indecision-disorder. I finally decided on a ZR1; the car is STUPID fast, generates (nearly) all the attention a Ferrari would, costs almost exactly what my optioned out Spyder would've cost, and there are less than 900 manuals in existence so it will likely hold it's value better than any other C7. Most importantly every time I step on the loud pedal, hear the angry growl, feel the Gs, and see that 2 MPG instantaneous mileage, I get a great big $2k gas guzzler smile on my face that I just can't shake.
Funny, i went through exactly the same process, looking at 430 (Scud), 458, and really thinking about getting a C8. Then i went the other direction and got this instead. Manual ZR1 fully loaded for $10k off sticker. The thing is STUPID fast. Reminds me of an old school muscle car in some ways.
