Based on what I’ve read it’s more likely to get stuck in a warehouse for 20 years…these are gone imo. Time to start a crowd fund to keep em here.

Sh*t I never thought about him exporting them. I hate to see them leaving.

That happened in electronics back in the late 70's going forward to maybe 2000. Containers of Kenwood, Sansui, Pioneer and all the other big brands of solid-state stereo equipment was coming in while collectors were buying up old tube gear made by Marantz, Western Electric, and McIntosh and shipping it to Japan and Korea and anywhere else.

If that's the case, I wonder why he doesn't pick up cars from the Euro market as prices aren't as inflated as here in the US

most likely because he’s a doctor here in the US and logistics are way easier… get a good shipper and you can pull from all over the country with ease to one freighter… Europe is a pain right now… getting PCR tests before each border crossing etc

… speculation on what’s driving speculation is slightly entertaining but it does clog up the channel so I’ll stop now

guess we might be seeing these Porsches and Audis on the streets of Dubai soon. Doesn’t surprised me now that someone mentioned it. Last time I was in Dubai I saw lots of Fcars, mercs and Lambos, not all that many Porsches. Just proves that this is a global market and with enough money, one person can literally corner the market with these relatively low volume models.

He is buying .1 3RS and these are the lowest production in the modern variants.
Shame to see great cars leave the country but this will continue to drive values higher on cars that are still undervalued.

I can almost envision the for sale ad now:

The crashed car "front bumper was replaced after hitting some debris"

Flooded car "Water only came up to the lug nuts"

I still think that flooded RS could be a good buy at the right price for one that doesn’t give a crap about value and just want to drive the snot out of it.
