For me, it depends on the specifics of the car:
If the car has less than 15k miles, I would pay less for one with pinned lines (and perhaps even pass on it all together). Any engine out service presents the risk of something not being done properly during the engine removal process, or the pinning itself. Same with LSD rebuild, but to a much lesser degree. If I'm buying a low mileage car, originality is of most importance. Any major repair work on low mileage cars is a red-flag for me, signaling that the car may have been tracked or had some other issue.
If the car has 15-40k miles on it, I would apply neither a discount nor a premium. In this mileage range I think the potential benefits of the "upgrades" equal the potential risks of something not having been done properly during the procedure.
If the car has 40k+ miles, or I planned on tracking it, I would pay a premium for having these upgrades done. In this range, I care much less about originality, and the car is entering a mileage range where these components have a higher likelihood of failure. Having this preventive maintenance done outweighs the risks that something wasn't done properly, and in most cases the car will have enough miles since the service that you would know if any issues arose from an improperly performed service.

Exactly this... There's no motivation to stop driving mine.... If there are a handful of enthusiasts that actually drive the cars, the people holding them will drive the market up, and while we may have the "least valuable" ones on the planet, they will still be worth more than when we bought them. I'm most concerned about the cost of parts and eventually insurance increasing so high that it doesn't make sense to operate.

I tend to stop people in their tracks if they ponder the thought that for the price of a seriously low mileage 997.2 GT3 RS I have managed to buy a high mileage 997.2 GT3 RS and a 997.1 GT2. Having high mileage examples of both these amazing cars makes me smile every single day, and I don't plan to stop smiling (or driving them!). We are all different in the ways we find enjoyment from these amazing machines, and although I respect everyone for their individual desires and goals, I seriously applaud the guys and gals who drive them regularly them most of all!

Maybe there is finally a chance that this Green .1 RS will sell on eBay after not selling in the last 20 eBay auctions conducted by the selling dealer. Up to $235k with 5 days to go.
