I think that’s called cornering the market. Somehow I don’t think he’s buying them all for himself. Do you really need two 997 Turbos? I get the RSs but just doesn’t seem like someone building a collection. I could be completely off of course. I still think he’s a broker and buying for clients.

With his recent activity, he has reset the market! All it took was one person. Crazy stuff.

Exactly! These cars are 11+ years old now with aging rubber and glue. I also got my coolant pipes done for peace of mind and my car has 4 digits on the odo. A proper job with documentation is not going to hurt resale value ppl. Originality is great and all until something goes wrong and coolant is dumped onto your rear wheels while taking a corner..

Could be true, but I sold my 993 Turbo on BAT last week and the guy wired me the cash a couple days ago. So I can promise you that some of them are real.

And if it was only about posting a car for sale there would be 4 posts a month in this market.

Grey/Gold .2 RS with 25k miles. Steel brakes, full leather, no sports chrono, and rare factory graphics delete option. $148k original MSRP. Asking price is $225k.

There are only 5 Grey/Gold .2 RS’ with the graphics delete option. Has roll bar with harnesses and maybe aftermarket shifter cables.

Some people are collecting the last of the best.
A guy by me has a garage full of cars, there are about 4-5 997 Turbos in there, all manuals.

that is what i thought as well; and i guess our suspicions were right. it's bummer that USA is losing these cars; but will only drive the ones left up in value. but i assume once a US car; can easily import it back in.
