I think OEM rims on this car are the best looking... that 1 owner $120k car yesterday is about as good of a find as you can get, have the wheels refinished... paint correction.

LOL I only read the description... no idea how I didn't see the big banner in the pic.

I'm curious because that one MSRP is $129k and mine is $135k so comparing them... I'll probably throw up mine on BAT in the next week or two, its 100% unmolested and Ive had $25k in racing parts sitting on the shelf for a year. So I'd rather buy a higher mileage example while I figure out how to be a better crappy track driver... tired of paying for driver schools and want to run my own car

I think the primary difference is mine has less miles, 14-ways w/heat and full leather package, PPF... my buckets and Dundon I'd probably get more for on marketplace than w/the car... and the old seats are vacuum sealed lol... pretty nice still.

I didn’t notice it at first either. Which brings me to my point, the dealer should swap back to stock and sell those separate. They’re not doing the car any favors and are likely detracting buyers.

Interesting that since the Pcarmarket listing they've found a proper steering wheel, and addressed the missing PCCB's (+ hood/decklid fixes), but that they either fitted old worn out PCCB's, or someone's already worn out a new set of PCCB rotors, as the rears look to be down the wear indicators?

At a minimum it had hood tie down pins on the rear trunk and the incorrect steering wheel for a 997 GT3. It was put through auction last year and sold for $107k. Doug also said he'd pass on it, which is a good indicator.

Damage history, used to have hood pins front and rear, car has had a cage in the back judging by the cuts on the rear carpet, non matching or missing parts in Pcarmarket listing so doesn’t make me think that the car was maintained or cared for to a high enough standard for a long period, and looks like a former track rat based on the Pcarmarket listing. DME had some range 4 ignitions a very long time ago so I guess that is not applicable anymore.

Paint on the Pcarmarket listing is strange as most of the car is unusually thin with most panels being 2-3 mils thick. Doors are 2x as thick as the rest of the car but aren’t too thick at 5-6 mils which is within the normal factory range of thickness. However, the drivers side front fender measured at 1 mil.

But looks like someone tried to clean the car up, but based on what I saw in the Pcarmarket listing it would be a hard pass for me and I certainly wouldn’t recommend that anyone pick up this particular example.

The 'wear indicators' on PCCBs are to be used as a visual reference when assessing rotor wear as a result of heat cycling etc.. being able to see the wear indicators does not indicate that the rotor is worn and needs replacement. Assuming that the rotor surface passes visual inspection, the remaining rotor thickness should be measured with a micrometer just as you would on any car, the minimum required rotor thickness is stamped on the rotor hat.

Said another way, being able to see the wear indicators does not indicate rotor wear, you are supposed to see them.
