Looks like a dealer ended up getting both cars.

I went and looked at this car in person yesterday evening and it was sold out from under me this morning.

Whoever bought it, paid $110k for it today and has it listed already for $34k more.

Actually, looks like they bought both cars. Toy Barn bought both. Unfortunate for sure.

And assuming they paid 120 for the white one, that's a quick $29K markup.

Unfortunate for sure.

Unfortunate, but can’t say I’m suprised. Seems like this happens all the time nowadays which kinda sucks if you’re an independent buyer. But that’s just the way it is unfortunately especially in this hot market.

In today’s market you better have a very fast trigger. Unfortunately for new buyers these cars are moving very fast and there is no signs of a slowdown.

And how the F many of us are in the market for a GT car. I am. But a lot of people are on here lurking are also in the market.....My guess is at least 30-50 people looking for the same thing....

I'm most likely waiting it out, I may loose, but the delta between my S and future GT was 40k and is creeping up faster than my savings...This is crazy, fun to watch, but batsh$t crazy nonetheless...

Dealers can take the risk buying sight unseen but for most of here it's too much risk.

Even for those of us not in the market and already have cars, I think most of us are annoyed more than anything. Most of the guys in here enjoy their cars, have no intention to sell and besides the warm and fuzzy feeling of saying “our cars appreciated overnight”, there’s not much benefit to us with the market as crazy as it is. Even then, would we really make much if anything after factoring in taxes, maintenance, etc, maybe but maybe not.

I know a couple of us actively talk with those looking and genuinely would like to see others get in and enjoy these cars. Capitalism is great and all the dealers are doing is making their profit and staying in business but It’s also unfortunate that enthusiasts are being left behind.

It sucks for the rest of us, but that's the reality of this market. I'm betting this car turns up in a few weeks on a dealer site, with a $150k ask. BTW, I think this is the lowest MSRP .2 I have ever seen.

Said another way, being able to see the wear indicators does not indicate rotor wear, you are supposed to see them.

Thanks for the info @jasonturbo , your feedback is at odd's with other threads on the topic, so I'll need to dig into it more. I'll still respond here, as it think it's relevant for those determining the condition of cars for sale. The thickness of the ceramic is thinner at the wear indicators to my understanding, so when you start to see a differential in surface finish/texture at the wear indicator as on that vehicle, I believe it indicates that the disc is nearing the end of it's life. Front's look even worse when you can clearly see different colourations in the surface.

Happy to learn that I'm wrong, as I was using this to help understand the condition of PCCB's prior to purchasing my .2 GT3, and images like this above would have definitely caused me to factor in new PCCB's into my offer.
