The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
I knew it. Figured they would be the buyer given they claimed their 4100 mile car was the lowest mileage car in the country. I'm not too fond of them after they reached out on my GTS. Just didn't like the vibe but that's me.
I wold almost bet the 7k mile .2 on BAT will end up at a dealer.

Finally put up an asking price for this Carrara White/Ruby Stone (originally had Guards Red contrast). Asking price is $250k OBO. Car has 18k miles, PCCB, full leather, and no sports chrono.

So “porsche collector” and “Allthingsporsches” are the same person? They bid on their own cars? Look at the history on PCAR market. Porsche collector always bidding and commenting on allthingsporsches auctions. What a joke. How does PCAR market not shut this behavior down?

After doing some digging, the few auctions where “porsche collector” happened to be the highest bidder on All Things Porsche auctions, they always came below reserve. This user called “porsche collector” pretty much only bids on All Things Porsche auctions. Plus, the auction that “porsche collector” finally did win, which was of course not an All Things Porsche auction despite bidding in at least a dozen of those, the car bought ended up in All Things Porsche’s inventory?! I plan to send a complaint to Pcarmarket for supporting All Things Porsche’s crap for so many years.

He gets some very nice cars but I'm really not sure how. He verbally abused me via text message when I didn't sell him a car last year, and I was told by a client of mine that he did the same, to the point my client had to block his number and then block other numbers that he used to then continue to harass my client. I really don't understand how some people stay in business. (This is not hearsay, nor exaggeration.)

Very unethical and sketchy establishment. Your insight only proves this.

That said, this type of gaming the system destroys the credibility of PCar Market's auctions.
Moreover, a 997.1 Turbo that recently sold on PCar for 93k just sold on BAT for 135k. Maybe they're desperate to show they're players in the market and allow shill bidding.
If they know what's good for their future, they would shut down this type of nonsense or they are going to lose all credibility and their audience.... they'll be another MYSpace

I would be very surprised if PCarMarket wasn't aware of this issue as it took members of this forum just about 3.2 seconds to unravel the nonsense.

That car sold to BaT user "Snaveed". If you look at his history, he has paid way over expected selling price on several cars. He's bought seven 911s and three R8s just in the last three months. Based on the cars, he doesn't fit the profile of a collector. Based on prices paid, he doesn't fit the profile of a dealer. Strange.....

Considering we are approaching the winter months, I think the demand is going to go down for now on these types of cars. The dealers that paid a premium at auction for these cars will have a hard time selling for the next 6 months. My guess is they will sit unless they drop their prices. Now next spring the buyers will be back but it'll be interesting to see if prices go down at all due to inflation etc.
Some of these dealers really stink. Taking away these cars and then relisting them for ridiculous prices. I wish people would not auction off these gt3s so some enthusiasts could get them at somewhat reasonable prices.

I'm not sure that this historical seasonality really exists anymore. Certainly hasn't been the case the last few years. The internet and auction sites have changed how and where people buy cars. Cross country sales are common place. More than half the country (by population) is not impacted by snow and salt and those looking for limited supply cars like GT3s are not going to pass up a good find even if their current weather happens to sucks. They will still buy and store until the spring. I just don't see demand changing due to winter.
