Mexico Blue 4.0 sold. Don't know how much, but they said it was gone.

Can you import a RHD car to the US that is that new? Can't afford it but just curious. That car is stunning!

500k-650k would be my guess based on what I saw similar types of RS 4.0 ask for at Bonhams or Gooding auctions recently….

the days of getting a 4.0 for $425k are over - lol - crazy..

You can import any car but you won’t be able to register it with DMV or drive it on public roads until the car is 20+ years old. I believe it’s 25 years?

correct me if I’m wrong

I searched this 997 GT3/GT2 sub forum & could not find a open thread for the general MARKET. I only found the one for GT2 specifically.

Since this is more of a overall market assessment video,... I figured this is as good a place as any. (if someone wants to point me to a general market thread within this 997 GT subforum, I'll be glad to move this post)...

You might be able to get it in under show and display, but the car must be driven <2500 miles per year. But I don’t think that the Riviera Blue example is the best one to choose as you would be paying a six figure premium in the UK for a RHD example when that is not a positive in the US. Once you add the import taxes then importing this car financially doesn’t make any sense.

This Orange .1 RS looks like it will be up on BAT as they sell A LOT on there or on the dealers website soon.

the .2 on pcarmarket is ending in the next couple of hours... $135k at this point IMO still a good deal.

I'm getting my popcorn out and watching where this ends up. Any guess?

Are you bidding for real or just playing while the number is still low?

If I could pick it up in the 130-140 range I would get it. So yes for real. Wouldn’t pay more than 140 tho since I have one already. It’ll strictly be an investment hence my own (low) limit. Looks like prices are over that already so kind of a moot point.

and yes, not an RS… brain fart on my part… I need coffee…
