The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

Funny how on the GT3, Porsche called this a "lightweight headlight" and "option". On every other 997, this is the standard base headlight you get if you don't fork up for the optional bi-xenons. Great marketing. They should have marketed the cars ordered without sport chrono as "lightweight dash" optioned.
Your joke is valid, & especially love the lightweight dash option,... which really would have been a "chrono delete" choice (if free) for track oriented cars. The German's really do make sense when I twist my American brain up and try to think like they do, Lol.

I did chuckle a bit when I first read your post. Then I thought to myself, funny is funny,... but when a option is free and is chosen, then it is really just a choice, not an option.

We get bullsh*t in the high-end audio business. Boutique brands that come up with "minimalist" designs with fewer parts but charge more for it. I don't believe in minimalist parts. I believe in the best engineering.

White .2 GT3 with 6k-7k miles will be up on BAT soon. Steel brakes, bucket seats, and DEM. $124k original MSRP.
I’m told it has all original paint, a clean DME report, and has a 5-lug conversion (has original parts and wheels to convert back to stock if desired). You can contact Darrell at Karpark if you are interested or have any questions.

^^^^Absolutely LOVE the yellow gauges. Especially if they compliment PCCBs.
What steering wheel is that? Assuming not the original since it has the RS stripe.

It's funny the guy who watches my car asked if it is normal that the car smokes up on cold startup. So did another friend of mine who just got a GT3. sounds like that is the mark of the mezger. My fathers turbo does too!

What do you think it will go for? I guessed $175k on the last one with 2400 miles on it and it closed at $182k plus fees. I'll say $175k plus fees on this one.
EDIT: Maybe buckets will add $5k so make it $180k

I want to see a low mileage, bone stock, hyper-spec .2 GT3 hit the auction block. I think we could see a hammer price starting with a 2.
