Was it possible to order these cars with additional seat options?
The car has buckets in it currently, but you can see the heated seat button.
One would think it could be a typo, or the buckets were put in but seem odd that it would populate on the VIN decode.
Never heard of that. I looked through my data and the only VIN I see that on is the car you're referencing. To confirm, it's Carrara White, correct? Since it has the heated seat button, I'd assume that someone may have opted for Buckets initially, then realized they wanted heated seats right before the build locked and then somehow both got put onto the build sheet. They probably realized it was easier to add buckets rather than heated seats, or something similar to that.

Doug brought up this situation on a Pumpkin. It showed Thicker Steering Wheel - Leather on the window sticker, but it never actually had it on the certificate of authenticity and it wasn't on the car.

Carrara White, Aqua Blue and Gray Black were standard colors. Then there was Metallic and Non-Metallic PTS. You're correct, Gray Black was not PTS.

Have parked next to an Blue/Gold .2 RS one time at car event. I really like the Blue/Gold color combo, but have a preference for the White/Gold and probably Grey/Gold. But color is down to personal preference.

How did you attach that dive plane spoiler on your RS? Is that screwed in? Or glued?

They are held on by double-sided adhesive and previous owner had them installed. Painted White Gold to match the accents.

If its held by 3m tape, can it really transfer downforce to the front end?

I still think they can transfer downforce. I believe RS 4.0’s from the factory have their dive planes held on using adhesive and are not bolted on.

My understanding is that it wasn't significant downforce. It's just enough to help settle the front end at high speeds when it wants to dance. I also believe OEM diveplans are double sided stick on.

*Champagne. Also, what you are referring to is called weiß gold aka weiss gold which is known as white gold in English.

adhesive is enough to keep the dive planes on the bumper bc they aren’t “direct” downforce elements. They are there to create vortexes down the side of the car for clean air / aero.
