I'd want it even more with the 4.1 liter engine! But then again that seems to have failed (unknown to me if a money shift or internal failure). 3.8 Cup engine is super cool - but does require rebuilds pretty often.

This made me laugh. My wife is 5' 2 3/4" (approximately!!) and she can't even see out of the window unless the seat is pulled almost all the way forward or she sits on a pillow! Also when she gets in she always sits down really hard because the seat is so much lower than she expects. She doesn't ride with me much

I saw the car in action and met the owner at a VIR track day back in 2019. I believe it still had the monster 4.2 motor at the time. I was driving my M3 that day, as my 4.2 GT3 was having some final tuning work done. It would have been so epic to have two 4.2 GT3s on track at the same time!

Kind of a stripper too. At least for me.

Also I've never seen a lightweight headlights option actually on the build sheet but I can see why you would want it. Saves 13lbs getting rid of the headlight washer. Did they charge to delete it? I'm sure they did. It's Porsche.

The lightweight headlight option was free. However, you would get Halogen lights instead of the standard Xenon. Most people did it to lose weight and/or the headlight washers.

Funny how on the GT3, Porsche called this a "lightweight headlight" and "option". On every other 997, this is the standard base headlight you get if you don't fork up for the optional bi-xenons. Great marketing. They should have marketed the cars ordered without sport chrono as "lightweight dash" optioned.

With the club sport seats that you have, they have a great seating position, especially compared to the normal GT2 buckets. One of the reasons they're desired.

And yet their Insta has this from yesterday. So confused Seems like shady cars on offer but still a real thing.
they appear to be pretty shady, they have two GT3’s for sale. One is a salvage title (not disclosed) they have them listed on manhiem OVE…
