I'm only counting retail buyers as owners. I'm not counting dealers who had the car in inventory. The car was initially owned by someone in Rhode Island for the first 10,000 miles of its life. That is who tracked the car. Then it was purchased by Isringhausen's client who put another 3800 miles on it over the next 9 years and finally traded it in on that 911R referenced above. Now it appears to be in California and listed by a private party, so in my book that would make it the third owner.
I personally don't care about owner count. Condition and maintenance history mean a lot more to me. However, when I see an ad with blatant misrepresentations, that throws up red flags for me which is why I shared the info in my post.
The better question is - why is it for sale from a private party two weeks after being bought CPO from Isringhausen, and using the dealership pictures?

Because you price things for what they actually should sell for. There's few honest dealers out there anymore, you're one of the good ones left. Pretty sure this one belonged to a local owner, who takes great care of his cars. Pic from 2016 that I had.
