RS 4.0 just posted. PCCB's, Adaptive Sport seats. $429,997. WP0AF2A98BS785595.

Previously for sale here for $399k.

Only strange thing is the CarFax on this car did not have a registered owner until 3k miles. I guess it is possible that it was just driven around by a dealer person, or that someone had a dealer license that bought the car and never registered it and used dealer plates. But figured I would point it out. Great car for someone looking for one without buckets.

The fact that it has cast-iron rotors and Forgeline wheels makes me think it was tracked a fair amount, but I would absolutely bite at that price if I were in the market. Just like my own GT2 it was born with sport seats instead of carbon buckets too. I so wish I could afford to upgrade my 997.1 GT2 into a 997.2 GT2 RS to join my 997.2 GT3 RS!

^^^I hope to see some artsy “through the bushes” mooty pics of the new GR RS. Maybe a little morning fog? Some fresh rain droplets?

I suspected it had been tracked a good amount. But it is a good amount cheaper than the rest of the cars on the market. Plus, it is of driver quality (compared to the rest of the cars on the market) which means you don’t feel obligated to baby it or make it a complete garage queen.

Was listed at $309k. WP0AE2A97BS778074. Saying it was tracked is definitely a safe guess on this one. Front bumper appears to still have black tire streaks on it. Car has Hoosiers, Girodisc rotors are similar and they're experiencing cracking, so they definitely were used hard. As we know, definitely not an issue if it was used on track as long as price is adjusted accordingly to the use and this one appears to be priced well for the use.

Exactly how I prefer my 911 GT cars, so I'm in total agreement with you @JohnGT

I definitely think the current asking price is very fair, but I have been concerned watching the overall price of 997.2 GT2 RS cars coming down over the past year...which is odd to me based on their numbered status of only 500. It still seems that so many lose their mind for naturally aspirated special 911s yet somehow do not feel the same way about their turbocharged models. I do kind of get that myself as my GT3 RS is my favorite, but the GT2 is no chopped liver in any way!

Holy cow, think this is a rare one.
One owner 2007 RS. 10k km, Canadian car, seems like it had a small accident.
Dealer just got it in apparently and not even on Autotrader yet.

Looks clean but $152k for a Canadian car with an accident is a bit steep. Hopefully the CPO is valid in all NA, including USA.

The accident was small though, the quote was 1200 dollars and what actually happened is unclear on Carproof.
I think this one will move quickly despite the environment now.
What do you guys feel about the number of owners for 997 RS?
I am turned off on ones with more than 3 owners.

# of owners is irrelevant on a low mile GT3/RS. People buy them then just park them before realizing they're not driving them at all and selling them.

+1 Yup. Always thought I was a buy and hold guy. Ordered my first 911, paid sticker (new launch), held on to it for 13 years and 25k mi until I got an unsolicited offer from someone. Then bought a 997.1 GT3, I was owner #3, thought would keep forever, sold it after 2 years when received unsolicited offer for the same price I paid for it. Just bought a 2010 GT3, think I am owner #8, 15k mi on the car and its awesome.

I think you'll have a tough time finding one that is less than 3 owners. 997.1s are now 14 years old now...

Zero chance this will sell to a USA buyer at that Dollar, unless someone needs a Black/Orange with PCCBs
