Anyone know more information on either of these 2 cars?

Silver @ Cawley

Black @ MarshallGoldman

MarshallGoldman is usually on the expensive side on pricing, but this example seems reasonable. Thoughts?

I was watching the live bidding, thought you had it as well. Surprised it didn't get bid up higher.

I have seen the Goldman car in person as I live local. I know as much about it as they have in the description. Has a GMG exhaust. They have had it for almost a year now, they started off at $107k I think and have lowered it slowly.

It was a true gem. I woud have gladly paid 131 for that car. Such a beauty, especially with that plate.

Yep, a year at $107k. They finally lowered the price by quite a bit.

Here's a Black 2011 GT3 (minimal spec) currently on the PCAR Market auction. Car location is very close to me.

VIN # WP0AC2A94BS783349 ; Current Mileage: 16,455.

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2...che-911-gt3-1/

So my curiosity has a question for you guys on this car.....

Seller is active on the auction, and noted that the DME report is over a year old, & thus, in looking at the paperwork pics, it looks like the mileage at DME report was 15,031 miles, and with engine operating hours of 156.8 hours.

So as you can tell, ever since I watched Doug'd video on reading DME reports, I have fascination with calculating various aspects of: 1) over-revs & time spent at 9K ; as well as 2) Average speed as an indicator,...

this car has: Average speed of 95.8 mph. Can that really be true??? If so, wow that is high.

Based on all the cars I've been watching & doing this sortof quick calcs just to get a feel for the car,... I am seeing that most cars driven solely on the street are seeing avg speeds in the 30mph - at-most 38mph.
Examples where the car has admitted track hours, I have seen avg speeds in the 40's.

So my question to the experts on here,... Do you think that the Engine Operating Hr Counter reading in that DME report was mis-captured? Could it really be an avg speed of 95.8 mph??? Even for a track car that seems improbable.

..... Also, this is NOT a debate on track -vs- street. In my book it is FULLY FINE to use these cars on the track as their intended purpose. No debates there please. Owners use these cars per their own desired purpose,... as it should be.

Thanks,
=Steve

There is also another 2011 GT3 RS in Grey / Black on the PCAR Auction right now. Car location San Diego CA.

VIN # WP0AC2A93BS783357 ; Current Mileage: 19,315. Engine Operating hrs: 545 hrs. (avg speed = 35.4 mph)

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2011-porsche-gt3-rs/

Carfax pic shows damage to the rear back in Feb, 2014. Lots of pics showing paint readings at the 2 mil thickness (I'm not an expert on that aspect, but just seemed a couple mils low).

Add'l Notes: DME shows Qty 435 Range 1 over-revs (occurring at 289 hr point), ... Qty 95 Range 2,.... and Qty 21 Range 3,.... Qty 6 Range 4 (all Ranges 2-4 appear to have occurred at 285 hr mark - thus probably all the same downshift moment).

In my opinion nothing to worry about. Seems like a great car depending on what price it finishes at.

Strange to see that steering wheel in there though.

I never check that site, are auctions populated? The couple I followed were bid pretty low.

I'm curious too.
I'd never been to the pcarmarket site.
of course similar to BaT??
I assume they allow reserves and charge $X to list?

Any comments from users?
