Your examples only back my point up more clearly.
Thanks.
So the fact the .2 has double the miles with mods pointing to the car being tracked and yet sold for $6k more is proving your point? I would argue it’s the other way. What would a 14k mile .2 go for? Quite a bit more than $135k I would think

Already put 10.5k miles in 11 months on the Touring (only driven on weekends), but it’s been really fun.
Your Touring looks really nice, enjoy it !

Those were common mods on a GT3 car (including coolant lines) considered valuable and desirable — certainly added value to the car. Judging from the clean DME, if that RS was tracked at all, then it was babied at worst. 31k miles is low for a 9yr old car. Driven, well maintained GT cars usually have much less problems than queens drying out in garages. $135k was a surprisingly low comp for a clean, no-overrev .2 RS suggesting a weakening RS market overall.

Those two are clueless.
An example of just trying to justify what they own is a better value than another variant.
Scared money.

Have you reached out to Doug @switchcars? He'll certainly be able to help. You've got one sweet Touring. Good luck with the search

If you REALLY want a PTS .2 RS, hire me to get it for you. I have every PTS car in my database and know where most of them are and/or have been. PS I don't work for free and I don't give free help to people who want to attempt to do it on their own.

FWIW there are only three green 997.2 RS, one Signal Green, two RS Green, and I have the history on all of them.

Really? Yes tell me why I bought the car I did. The one I bought not only has higher miles based on the other cars and it’s not a secret it’s been tracked. If I was so worried about the value dropping? Why would I put 1000 miles in 2 weeks on her? Nice try👍🏻 You can try to look at your crystal ball all you want. I’m just gonna drive the car and enjoy every minute

I may be I oversimplifying, but who cares. Buy it at a fair price then drive the hell out of it for years or preferably decades. If you want to make an investment, put money into your own company, buy stocks, bonds or real estate.

That’s kinda reaching don’t you think? 1/25 in green will obviously be stupid price. I’m talking about the general collection of what’s out there. How many of these .1’s go for $200k?
