Thats not far off from your existing spec, I'd say your path to endgame is solid

That superman is close to mine with the exception of the gauge color and Sport Chrono.

Oh and I have 20K miles on mine, it doesn't just sit.

It would be very cool if they released vintage configurators. I would love to spec a 997 3RS.

If the piece gets damaged or is delaminated/warped it is a near impossible piece to replace as it’s a very rare and a unique component for those specific models. The carbon fiber cup holders you’re more likely to find replacement’s (as it’s been used on other models), but still not super easy. The cupholders on a 4.0 has ‘RS 4.0’ script on it so it really isn’t possible to find replacement’s.

so 6 months ago I went down this path because I have warping, at the time Germany had stock on the 3.8 ($900 through Gaudin vegas, price is redic imo but so is perfectionism lol )

But my issue is, if it’s OEM will it just warp again. So my thought cup holder has smaller pieces so less likely to warp? What causes it to warp, summer heat? I opted not to buy because I didn’t know these answers. Downside of dbcarbon is that it doesn’t have the 3.8 on it, upside is lifetime warranty obv

kinda reminds me when I bought 2 new speaker replacements from the factory, only to find out the woofer rubber also has the same chemical break down problem and was brittle (100% of us have this issue), so I ended up replacing my speakers with new matching spec 4ohm <150w, this worked out great but I had to deviate from OE which I don’t like to do on non-bolt ons.

That would be cool. But assume that won’t happen as it’s too much hassle for Porsche to do for cars they don’t make anymore. But still nice to dream.

I was in med school when the configurator hit......I spent WAY WAY too much time spec'ing my 3.8/4.0 back in the day lol

I believe MA Carbon can replicate the factory trim with the script. If you're looking for replacement pieces, I'd reach out to them first. I've used them for my cupholder trim replacements and their quality and service was excellent!

I replaced mine with OEM about 7 years ago due to warping. So far its still perfect

Very close to my build, I don't have PCCB and Red vs Gold, but do have carbon interior " package" , sills, center console, gear shift etc. Going from memory on MSRP of 154/156ish

What is supposed to go in the little clips in the glove box? Someone told me a CF pen... is that accurate?

The slot by the passengers door- umbrella?
