Thanks Mooty. Amazing the number of people who want free advice but when it comes down to hiring me to assist on the search they think they know better. Lot of talkers out there, and the intrawebs make everyone an armchair expert.

20k+ miles can be bought in the 80s. 50k miles are in the 70s. A storied high mileage car.....

Now don't get me wrong, this car was maintained and repaired right. There's a right price for everything, and the owner gave me a shot at buying the car back, but the discount I was applying for the mileage and damage repair was more than the competition, which didn't hurt my feelings at all. I'll save my money for the primo ones.
So talking basic colors here, your whites, grays, silvers, etc, with $110-120k stickers, no crazy options like ceramics, I tend to think of the following.

Around 20k miles for $90k
Around 30k miles for $85k
Around 40k miles for $78-82k

You are right, I was a bit high in my prices.

The examples I am thinking of are the cars that you sell. When I think 997.1 GT3 pricing, I tend to go to cars that you have had in the past. Talking no paintwork, clean DME’s etc. that’s what I figure you would be priced at for the examples above.

If you are not prepared to do the detailed and extensive research yourself.....best to pay a well known, knowledgable, and honest professional like Doug to do it for you.

I did the solo research, but it was one hell of a lot of work! And got lucky! .

......there were plenty of crappy GT cars to weed out when I was on the hunt, some at official Porsche Dealers and some not. Be prepared to do your due diligence while up to your neck in poop.

I have looked at the ad a few times. I'd be curious to hear the story on the engine.

I would too. Its got some nice add-ons, but I wish it had the carbon buckets. I'm also somewhat interested in Nero's GT3 at Titan motorsports, but its been for sale for 95 for something like three months, so there's gotta be something up with it.

It looks great from the website, but also don’t they all do?
it has been for sale for a while too.

I am always cautious when a car has a history of track mod / blown engines/ other. I feel better when I buy a 100% stock car.

Titan GT3
I once had Nero and Titan conduct work on my BMW some years back and they ended up screwing the entire job. I ended up having to fix most things myself or pay to have the dealer fix them afterwards.. Imagine a level of incompetence that leads to installing an axel using sledgehammers and screwdrivers instead of the required OEM Tools. My car was a mess for months with problems they created and I wouldn't trust them installing a floor mat, let alone anything important.

Thus I will never purchase anything that Titan has touched or has consigned.

This sucks as that GT3 was locally owned and seems to be a nice example. I just wanted to share my experience with Titan and why I would proceed with caution.

$0.02

They also crashed a customers car last year and refused to pay for it.

Well, that doesn't make me feel good about that shop, or buying a car from them...
