Bid to $187,500. WP0ZZZ99Z7S791767
@SupraSaiyan Saw you bid at one point near the end. You up north, or did you have some secret strategy for importation? I’d have risked trailering it across for a track day and just never going back . . .

Yeah. Fairly predictable. Poor guy should’ve put it on Collecting Cars.

I say the photo gallery in the auction is great representation of the actual condition. Front has been repainted as stated by the seller, driver side tail light slightly misaligned, rock chips, clean interior, the professional photos were not misleading in any way.

Don’t know why this Cobalt Blue .2 GT3 that recently sold from Switchcars is listed on RFM site as thought this was sold to a private buyer. Sounds like they were involved in the deal though.

The buyer of the Cobalt car had messaged me on Instagram. He seemed excited to have purchased it, and seemed to indicate that he wanted to keep and drive the car. I'm guessing the car is not actually available on RFM, but stranger things have happened!

The private buyer is a broker who attempts to source specific cars and sometimes flips them to RFM/Grand Prix/etc. I'm going to make an assumption here that the broker bought the car for himself to check it off the list but told RFM to post it up for sale in case someone offers more than the 170-175k he paid.

Some of the cars he’s posted have ended up at RFM, GP Motors, and All Things Porsche’s. Think a lot of his business is sourcing cars for dealers. The Cobalt Blue car on RFM website is now marked as sold.

Has anyone seen it posted on the website as not sold? Maybe it never was on the website as a for sale ad.
