Precisely. If I wanted to only look at it I would have bought the poster instead.

Yes, you are correct. I thought it was over 400 but when I searched the Gooding car came up first and I figured it was just old age....

Shame to buy that and just let it sit.

A base with 35,000 and two pictures going for 150k. That’s not a serious seller. He’s just throwing it up to see what kind of sucker he can catch

You never know. Not everyone knows how to sell. I found a craigslist ad during covid for a 2007 Turbo with under 1k miles. There was one crappy picture of the car and the entire ad copy read "2007 Porsche, a real classy car". I thought for sure it was a scam but a local phone number was listed so I called. Turned out it was an older car collector who had his secretary post the ad. We ended up buying the car. It was the lowest mileage 997 TT known in the country at that time. I think there is one floating around now with like 100 miles.

I dunno, maybe closer to reality price wise than the $235k base .2

If RSs are going for 300k plus, why would 235 be so far fetched for a base which has pretty much every desirable option and sub 10k miles?

Probably because no BaT auction, for example, has brought anywhere close to that for a .2 non RS, even with similar miles and specs

11k mile guards red .2 with pccbs, full leather AND buckets (which the grey car is missing) that sold for $180k recently:

I get it and you’re right about the recent comps, I just don’t understand the delta to the RS. Also, there have been several non-RS variants that sold for over 200k, I believe one was $240k (4k miles). So I guess all it takes is that one buyer that has to have a particular spec, color history, etc.
