Originally an Ohio car, surface rust on rear trailing arms, transmission case. Evidence of oil leak, can't tell from where as car wasnt on the lift. No smoke on start up, car was cold.
I'm not an expert, but for $189K I expect something perfect.

if you are a collector, get it
if you are a driver, avoid it like the plague
you'll have more fun finding a higher milage car, drive the **** out of it, then sell it for what you paid or more for whenever you are ready to move on
these cars are too damn fun to drive....

I went to go see this car in person. Asking $189,000, been sitting about 4 months at the dealer. 1-owner, zero over-revs, had 1/2 bra which was taken off, yellowed stone guards still on the car. Paint could use a professional detail, lots of swirl marks. No dings, but small scratch on rear bumper that would need to be painted. Tires are 2022 date code Michelin PS, forgot to check if they were N1 spec. No evidence of paint work, but did not paint meter the car. Interior. Driver bolsters heavily worn, passenger seat perfect. Quarter size mark in the middle of dash (probably from a fasttrack device, not sure if that can be fixed). Carpet never cut, buttons not sticky. Interior could use a vacuum.

You weren't! I had a buddy who was 100% buyer at around 200k. I thought there might have been a chance, but alas I was wrong. I'm just going to have to bide my time and wait for that elusive Canadian gt2 with sofas, suspect dme, bad carfax, and 50k miles....then I'll join the club!!!!
1. Car is completely stock, so no coolant line pinning or welding.
2. Gt/RS/turbo don’t have an IMS issue like the Carreras/Boxers of that era
