Yes, do not bid on this! If I see any of your names on the bid I will call you out for being a hypocrite... (immediately alt tabs to bid on it.)

I wouldn’t buy a car with <1k miles either. Crossing into 4 figure mileage would be a big mental barrier that frankly I wouldn’t want to have to deal with. Sometimes I have doubts about buying my RS with 1900 miles and with the market almost doubling since then feel as if I can’t drive it as much as I would like.

Also the car on BaT doesn’t look to to have had any maintenance from new up till 2021 as that’s as far back as the available invoices go. Maintenance book is basically empty just the pre-delivery inspection. No indications of services or maintenance on the Carfax report either just registration renewals.

I’ll go bid too and save everyone from making a mistake.

The IMS bearing on these just rots when they sit like this for so long… not mention the speaker foam has a manufacturing defect and essentially falls apart if the stereo is turned on rendering the car worthless… and I won’t even talk about the sticky volume *** from aging plasticity. Basically its time bomb not a time capsule

on a more serious note… my buddy with a mint 3k mile GT4 that has been in Europe for the winter just noticed mice ate his foam and a few wires in the frunk sooo still worth checking a car out like this in person

doesn’t matter, we will find a mm gap on the fender that doesn’t match the other side and then assume there was an un-reported accident and ask for a urine sample to prove they wernt on drugs when they did the paint metering

this is the absolute sweet spot for a .2 RS. Guilt-free (most importantly) and depreciation-free drive yet still can be in pristine/show condition

If I didn’t have mine (and wasn’t so partial to my silver wheels) I would bid this one. It’s got all the pre-track prep done.

This is like a license to drive, at 8k miles the price delta is all wrapped up in that accident. I bet you could essentially drive it for for 20k miles without changing the resell much. Any RS with the yellow warning sticker still on the buckets is pretty early in its wear life.

The rev report is clean with only lvl 1 but i will say the rear brakes have 3 wear indicators which means they are done… so the fronts prob arnt that far behind (I can’t see for sure) It’s not THAT easy to toast your pccb’s in 6-7k miles which is the previous owners mileage.

The first puff was nothing. The rest is probably caused by condensation in cold weather.

yea, those rear brakes are shot. The fronts don’t look much better either.

Whoever did the carpet replacement on this .2 RS that is for sale used an incorrect piece and it looks terrible.

VIN: WP0AC2A9XBS783193

Nothing like having exposed (not factory looking) screws to hold your carpet in.
