Not sure, what there is to be confused about - it looks like a literal clown car. If you dont see it, you dont see it, its like art... and to me I see a clown car.

there is "literal" no way to think of a Grey/Black as a clown,... nor the Aqua/Red. Superman for sure, but certainly not the orange/red/green combo typically associated with a clown.

& if you are pointing at the aqua/red, then it sounds to me like you've never seen one in person. by most all enthusiast counts, it is stunning.

I took a second look at it with google images and pulled it up in 4k with 240hz refresh rate and it now looks like a clown superman car with clown feet. But again to each their own, taste is subjective and to me it doesn't work, I'm willing to die on this hill no matter how many people may say it looks great but I personally see a clown car with the red accents (call it Rorschach inkblots). I can maybe swing red/black but the red just feels way too loud - and yes I understand that this is a classic color sway for 997 blah blah blah but It doesn't float my proverbial boat. /shrug

Also I like my cars to be incognito without the "bright" colors, call me a "basic bitch", I don't take offense to it. If you enjoy your car and the color its in than drive it proudly its your car and were all grown *** adults so just enjoy it and its heritage, but don't be alarmed if people outside your bubble think it looks like a clown car either. Cause again... taste. is. subjective.

I remember in High School we had a friend named Tony Shinto. Every time he would walk on to the baseball field at lunch, we would all run our hands from our toe to our knee and back to the toe in one continuous smooth move all while saying his name. ok ok,... in all seriousness, we get that there are different tastes. But rather than attacking that particular color scheme that Porsche created,... why not focus on which packages you like & prefer (verses going down the negative attack road). Keep it positive, & it won't got off the rails.

As long as we're shooting the **** I'll put my vote in for Signal Green over black being the best .1 RS color and Aqua Blue with white gold accents being the best .2 RS color (leaving aside any PTS). I'm surprised Porsche even offered the silver with orange wheels and graphics on the .1. And the red wheels/accents on a .2 does make the center grill look like it's wearing lipstick, but if people love them then more power to them. Saying anything negative about a color combo is sure to ruffle someone's feathers as someone will inevitably own that combination. But the wonderful thing about it is it's all subjective and the only thing that's important is that it makes that owner happy.

Not sure how this exchange even came to be. Are we not all 30+ y.o. professional types who understand that color combos and specs are all just personal preferences, and this isn’t Reddit, where children mock each other?? So strange.
