If we're talking an Aqua Blue example with PCCB's, then that would probably be the one I'm buying. But if both are same color, similar condition and service history, I'd personally go for the $170k one. PCCB's and adaptive seats should not be a $30k difference.
Im going to try to get more specifics on both cars tomorrow but similar colors (2011 is black and 2010 is Basalt Black). I don’t plan on tracking the car so the PCCBs don’t matter too much to me from that stand point, unless they’re a huge demand in the resale market.

Google the VIN on the GrandPri one.

The Millenia one is nice, but I think priced high.

I'd inquire on @3_PDLS car. My friend has seen it in person and has mentioned it's incredibly clean.

Regarding ceramics, you don't want them for tracking (which I know you're not doing), you'd want to put on iron rotors for the track. For the street, PCCB's are great. They bring a premium on resale, but you're going to pay for that up front and get it back on resale.

Actually street driving is where PCCB’s shine. No brake dust! And most track guys would rather have steels. Resale is definitely a factor as I wouldn’t have bought my car without them or the carbon buckets.

Appreciate it. It’s definitely one of the best 7.2 examples left. I’m super conflicted on letting it go!

When purchasing my TT, PCCBs were a deciding factor for me (the other two was manual and an ‘09). It is nice not having the dust but sometimes while in traffic the brake noise gets a bit much for me. For the TT, I can see a resale difference of maybe a few thousand dollars higher for PCCB compared to steel, but the $30k difference between these two cars just seems drastic to me. Certainly the 2010 has a few more options but might be priced a bit high.

I don’t get much if any noise with mine. I don’t think the $30k you are seeing difference is due to the PCCB’s, I just think that car is priced high in general given the mileage and rest of the spec.

I don’t think you can put a number on what the PCCB’s add to the value without taking into account condition, mileage and overall spec as well as personal preference. If you are approaching $200k in today’s climate it better hit on all four points.

That’s a beauty but the analog feel of a 997 GT3 can’t be matched. It’s on a different level of driving feeling and experience. I would only add a 992 GT3 but my 997 GT3 is staying with me. I have gotten the same thoughts from current 992 GT3 owners that own both.

I definitely hear you and I’ve waffled on keeping both and might. I have the space. It’s just I love cars and if I was gonna have $200k tied up in two different cars, I’d really like them to be wayyyy different experiences and different roles. That’s my struggle. Maybe a 996 GT2 or an RS of some variant or v10 r8 manual or Ferrari 612 Scag manual or 996 Turbo S in an epic spec and cool color? The list goes on!

I’d pay the $30k premium just for not buying from Grand Prix.
