This is what I'm hoping. I do have a short list of must have options, and would like a color other that White or Black.

This looks like a good deal (unfortunately, I'm not in the market):

What are the thoughts on Guards Red 997.2 GT3s? Are they as rare as they seem? I have been watching the market for a while and haven't really seen any for sale until today. Should red increase value? reduce value? Make no difference?

They don't pop up as often as white or black cars, but it seems like when they do come up they all come out at once.
Only 79 were produced for North America, so they are the most common of the 'colors', but still a lot less than the 390 combined for black and white.

From my experience, red/yellow are usually sold at a lower price point than white ones, but higher than silver.

If you like red buy a red one. Don't buy the color you think the next owner might like...

The press car was guards red and all the promo images are of that color. Some great images there, along with literature, factory 1:18 models, etc.

I very much liked my red GT3, it's a great color in person. Even better was the feeling when I was behind the wheel on a twisty road. That's what matters the most.

Anyone know anything about this RS?

Carfax appears clean. No idea on DME or PPI yet.

Thanks.

ya, 200K. I'm thinking of driving out there (7 hour drive) to take a look at it. Just wanted to see if anyone knows about the car first.
