Ex USDM car for sale in the UK. Seems like a salvage car based on the description.

997.2 from Brooklyn Auto Sales just posted - price and DME report looks good but clear mods just from the pictures (seats, exhaust, floors?, maybe nav)

This car looks pretty nice and good deal. I think this is Meteor....
I googled the vin but really couldn't find any previous history.
Are those seats the buckets or aftermarket? checking in with the braintrust here..... it doesn't look like the upholstery is good enough around the curve to be OEM...dunno...

I don’t think they are OEM buckets - pretty sure the 997 buckets look like this: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/po...-bucket-seats/
They look kinda like knock offs of the 996 bucket:
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/recaro-37/
note there’s no crest in the headrest either
wheels obviously not OEM either
btw it says in the ad “clean carfax” but doesn’t link to it

agreed.
I'm glad I asked. Its really not that big of a deal (as I'm looking for sofa's or one above) and knowing the pricing of these seats it would bring a greater premium to this car being that it is an .2 with a desirable color.
strange that nothing comes up on the vin when I googled it....
No big, my 7.2 s or pro-touring Camaro hasn't sold, no rush for me. Other things in life are kinda in way as well right now but its fun watching looking.

If anything I'm impressed someone paid to ship it that far, to a country where the car's steering wheel is on the wrong side for the roads. Lets hope Googling the VIN is something people in EU know to do as well.
