The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
The white one at San Luis Obispo (belonged to a Rennlister, whom reached out to me, thanx) has gone from 144 to 134 now its at 188 lol. I'm kinda interested in it (was, but that dealer is doing something weird, and they've called my about 20 times by now....) I'm not interested until they quit playing games with the pricing.
Plus, I'm interested in an off market 7.2, but the whole smog / exhaust thing has quite a few moving parts. Let alone the tune......

I wouldn't bother.

I just received a notification that it sold. For $188k asking??

Ha! Probably did sell but we all know not for 188. And as they were negotiating with the buyer they wanted folks to believe it sold for 188k which is the only reason they would try the deception. With all the cars out there going for far less, it would have to been some monumental type of idiot to buy this example for anything close to 188.

Some dealers are marking cars sold and re posting them a few days later. Just another game to trigger new listing alerts when it goes back on the market.

I called on that one a few months ago and got hit with some seriously spammy/high pressure sales and all sorts of games...pricing games, calls and texts every couple hours (10+ unanswered), won't do pre-contract PPI (seriously--and what's the point, then?), "have you also considered the M8 convertible?" etc. Very low rent experience.
I wouldn't bother.

15k-mile Pumpkin .1 RS on BAT. PCCB and full leather w/orange deviated stitching. Has a Fabspeed exhaust (original included). Noticed the drivers seat has abnormal wear considering the mileage and the underside of the car isn’t perfect.

I've never seen paint peel like that . Maybe the front bumper is a repaint even though it states old PPF removed, which would lead me to no need for a repaint.

For the life of me I can’t find where it says the PPF was removed. From the up close photos it looks like it has PPF based on the lines on the edges of some panels (at least front bumper, fenders, and a portion of the rear quarter panels above the rocker panels). This might explain some of the orange peel texture. There might be some PPF on the doors as this has an orange peel texture also, but hard to tell.

Yup… 100% you gotta use hot water or steam, but you wouldn’t see it peeling on the underside unless they wrapped the PPF all the way back. When PPF pulls paint off, it’s usually the clear coat so you’ll see big strips of a matte-like appearance where it’s pulled the clear coat.
Something else has occurred with that panel, I’m not sure it’s a big deal and is easily re-sprayed.
