It might be members old car from here. Had the engine replaced at some point. Also had a bunch pf GMG parts on it before not sure if they are still there on tbe car.
Can anyone confirm this about the motor?

Nevermind. Confirmed. Thanks for the info, kyrocks.

Any history on this car? Googled VIN but nothing significant came up.

Looks clean but either it is a dedicated track queen or garage queen.
If it is really a garage queen, one of the lowest priced right now.

Has harnesses, so not likely a garage queen

PCCBs look like they've seen some track action.

Probably a high price for a Canadian car. There are a couple up here, like this one http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Porsche/9...&orup=15_15_17 in Canada that have sat for a while now. On this one, they actually reduced the price down to $189CAD a month or so ago before bringing it back up. I wouldn't be surprised if they let it go for the $140-145US range since its been there for a while now.

$160 USD is a great price, but it looks like a pretty bare bones car aside from the buckets. And judging by some of the pics, the paint is hammered up front and the rockers behind the front wheels are peppered. May be a good driver if a PPI checks out (and the motor hasn't been replaced), but I'm guessing this one has a seen a lot of track time.

Are you aware of the differences between Canadian and USA cars?

^ Other than the odometer being in KM, there is no difference.

Would make a great driver/track car, definitely not a collector car.

Car was definitely tracked, but given that they're willing to CPO the car, it would be worth checking out. PPI is always a good idea.

CPO means nothing if there is frame damage. PPI is a must. Case in point: the aqua car at Prestige upon initial glance looked fine, but once on a lift, it was/is a disaster.

Agreed. PPI is always good to do. As an aside Prestige is well known as a shady dealer. Those guys should never be trusted. Several Rennlisters have been burnt by them.
