New forged FUCHish Flat wheels from Augment Wheel.

Impeccable quality and I love the Fuchs look on 997s.

Haven’t had a chance to line up the shields with the valve stems. The centre caps don’t have holes so I’ll have to pull the wheels.

Tubi exhaust installed. Great upgrade! Not too loud but great tone throughout the rev range. Particularly wakes the car up down low.

Very nice. Can you tell us the sizes, offsets and weight. Love the two tone - I have similar ones on mine, but not as high quality as yours (AW) although aesthetically very similar.

18s, lowered on eibachs

Nice! Any other exhaust or intake mods made? Considering the Tubi among others, but don't intent to do headers or cats at this stage.

19x8.5 ET50
19x11 ET52

Forgot to weigh them before I got the tires mounted. They are quite stout (solidly constructed) and I’d guess they are similar to the stock Carrera II S wheels, which are fairly light for cast wheels. WAG is 22/25 lb

No, just the Tubi mufflers. Everything else is stock.

A little maintenance on the wife's 110k mile 05 C2S today.

Replaced oil pressure sender as it was reading 5 bar even with the engine not running LOL. PSA - if yours shows anything but zero with the key on and engine not running, it needs replacement. Best.tool for the job is a 19mm crows foot wrench on a ratchet with extension. Make sure you only work from the nut on the bottom of the sender canister and don't twist the canister itself.

Changed the oil and filter - fresh fill with 8 quarts of DT40 and a new K&N HP-1007 canister filter on the LN Engineering spin on adapter. Sample will go off to Blackstone per usual, and I'm interested in the results from this one because it only has 3k miles on it, but has been 20 months so I want to see how time vs mileage really effects the results, especially the acidity.

Removed and cleaned the K&N air filter and hydrophobic cover that's part of her EVOMS intake because of the TT rear decklid and spoilers. Once the media is dry, I'll reoil it and stiff it full of paper towels, wrap it in paper towels and leave it overnight. That's the secret to removing all excess oil not absorbed by the gauze filter media so it doesn't cause MAF issues. I have run oiled K&N filters on all my cars for 35 years for various reasons (mods that don't allow the factory airbox, etc) and have never replaced a MAF.

Serpentine belt looks good, no oil leaks or coolant drips anywhere, no cracks in the coil packs.. 👍 Was looking at the water pump because it's been about 50k miles since her last wateroump change so I'm now in the Russian roulette period. I'll do that, serp belt, AOS, AOS hoses, and all 3 chain tensioners in the next 10k miles, which as much as she drives this one now, could be anytime in the next 3 years LOL.

Up on the lift for a spa day

Pressure sender toast - 5 bar with engine off LOL

Out with the old and in with the new

19mm crows foot wrench works perfectly

Wrench on the sender

Fixed - now 0 psi with engine off

Oil sample off to Blackstone

Oiled filter stuffed and wrapped to absorb excess oil to not famge the MAF.

I just do whatever Dolfis tells me to do! DT40 and LN spin on with K&N filter done. I did my water pump and low temp thermostat Replacement last month or so at 56k miles as I figured it was time, and mechanic said it was after seeing it. Did all coil packs and plugs as one coil was destroyed. Waiting for 2000 miles to send to black stone to see if the oil change helped as I have too much metal in my last sample. Like a lot too much…

Petza - do you have to remove anything other than the air filter box to get at the oil sensor? I glanced at it last time I had my box out and it looked a little complicated to access.
TIA

Wish I had a lift btw.

Nope. I haven't worked with an OEM airbox in 9 years so don't remember how obstructive they are to that area or not. I did not remove the EVOMS intake box when doing it (and it's pretty big on that side), just reached in over the top of it so you may not even have to take the airbox out.

Replaced my spark plugs, coil packs, and swapped springs on my Flatout Clubsport coilover setup to achieve a smoother ride with lower spring rates. I opted for a spring rate slightly stiffer than a stock 997 GT3 setup.

Quick note... an 8mm ratcheting box wrench makes accessing the difficult coil pack bolts a breeze... unless you've got the female torx version, of course.
