The result of an Easter morning ride where I thought, what's that rattling in the back right?

My 997S, now 457000km (284000mls).

The chromed trim on the tailpipe is loose and a plate in the muffler seems to be vibrating. Will have the muffler opened and the sheet metal rewelded - of course with an update here.;-)

Pulled the bumper off to vacuum the radiators, replace the low tone horn and check the passenger side fan.

Nice work!

how long does it take to pull the front bumper? I need to do this but not sure if I need to commit a weekend to it.

@nydog Hello, are you missing the foam protection or is it different in your area? I just disassembled everything to place a grid and clean everything

First time, but it's super easy, the most annoying is to remove the wheels,I did not count the time needed to put on the crick and candles +- 10mn more

FINALLY got her out of hibernation today...despite (very) light snowfalls here and there during the late morning. Paid extremely close attention to oil temp, as always. Hope all had a Happy Easter, Passover, Ramadan, whatever may apply.

Bob

A slow tease...

Just got back from a fun run up Route 5, some time on I-91 and then an hour on the twisties. So satisfying...felt great.

As there are in the White Mountain state, @John D II. I am in SE VT and often head over to NH with no routing in my nav, no particular place to go...I just follow the roads. Always a great drive.

Installed some GT2 side skirts on the C4S. I’m very happy with how they turned out!

Finally found a used Alcantara center console arm rest. Cleaned up well. The 997.1 fits on a 997.2!
