Local Ferrari club allowed a few Porsches to go for a spirited drive with them followed by lunch at a resort/golf course
Think final count was 15 Ferraris, 4 Porsches, 1 Maserati
Fitted my fancy key custom 'Arid key' body to my 987 cayman and 997. Bought them a few weeks ago after meeting the designer at Queens square car meet in Bristol. Love them.
Ive been looking at these for a few weeks. How solid does it feel? One gripe I have is the lack of a Porsche badge. Is there a way to fit one?

Wow! Some eargasmic tunes right there! Must have been a blast!
I bought my first Porsche, a 997 Carrera S Cabriolet, and after driving it 3800 miles from Portland OR to my home in Raleigh NC arriving yesterday, today I took to the Porsche dealer for a oil change and inspection. All Good-
Then I drove to dent specialist to get a estimate on having 4 dings removed, and will drop it off next week for that.
Then I drove home and did a 4 stage paint correction with Meguires-
Clay Bar
Compound
Polish
Wax
Looks like a million...though it was a California/west coast car for 15 years and always garaged, I dont think anybody every every did much on the exterior. Turned out great. I am pooped...

First post-purchase oil change (DT40), magnetic drain plugs, spin-on filter adapter, and PTX for the transmission. First trip underneath it, and only burned my knee on the headers once.
Is that the newer, taller QJ? I picked up mine in December for a great price but it was the older, shorter one.
It’s the 5000TL, which I think is a few inches taller than the older ones. Costco had it on sale online recently for a few hundred bucks off. Assembly was easy, though I had to redo the thread sealant on a couple of spots that leaked. It fits under the 997 and the F80 M3, and has just enough capacity for our 4Runner too. It’s definitely going to get some use.
Of course, my dad has now one-upped me with a 2-post lift in his giant garage. 🤣

I had issues with mine when I got it. Pump was defective and my initial contact with QJ left much to be desired in the form of customer service / troubleshooting. Also had some minor leaking on the hoses. Ended up having to make a YouTube video of me trying to lift my car and the QJ failing to operate as intended. They finally ended up sending me a completely new Box 3 with the pump, hoses, etc. Works great, those extra few inches would be nice, tho. Or a 2-post lift.
Picked her up from A Plus Auto after paint corrections and PPF, and got to drive her into the garage on my new driveway poured last week, nice and smooth all the way in. Driveway still needs some work along the sides, this weekends project.
