I finally got my GTS out of hibernation and introduced to her little sister. Put the GTS away in October and picked up the Boxster in December. Washed and waxed both and now they sit happily next to each other in the garage. Had to get them both cleaned up for the PCA 4 region Chicago/Milwaukee BBQ this coming Saturday.

I have been driving the Boxster GTS a lot while the 911 was still in storage. Don't tell the 981 folks, but the 911 GTS is so much more fun to drive. While the 981 is a very capable and balanced car, the GTS is such an exciting, dynamic, and fun ride. The 981 GTS is no slouch, but it's not a 911.

My wife took this picture. After she showed it to me I told her yellow and blue should make a green GT3. Yeah, that didn't go over to well.

I tried to change my engine mounts but for the life of me, I could not break the bottom bolt to get started. Sprayed some rust killer on it but to no avail. I guess 16 years in this northern climate with salt and snow and whatever else hasn't been kind.
Couldn't walk away without doing anything so gave the airbox a good clean while it was out and then removed the exhaust tips and gave them a clean and polish

Had my new wheels (HRE FF01) installed! Car is headed back to the detail shop to finish full paint correction, ceramic coat, and full front PPF.

I had to get onto mine with a large torque wrench for the leverage. Unless you are planning on re-using or selling them, it doesnt matter if the bolt fails.

Installed B16 Damptronic Coil-Overs on my 997.2 C4S 6MT Cabriolet. Loving the car's new attitude on the road. Lowered the car about one inch and have not scraped a curb or a speed bump yet.

Where did you find a set? I've been thinking about the B16s for my C2S but everyone seems to be out of stock.

Any good tutorial on removing the seat backs and lower parts? I’d try some houndstooth inserts in my car.

The seat backs are easy. Grab ahold at the top and pull upwards. Once off the hook they come right out. The lowers are more complicated and involve cutting seams. I have refrained from doing that thus far.
