Attended the Attack of the Racks car show and had my car displayed at Manhattan Classic Car Club. Tons of fun and lots of cool cars.

To all the "doers" out there, I salute you!
I've just bought an ebay "stunt" console to practice a few finishes on.
First ill discover a practical way to get the old paint off. Chem, heat, mechanical?
Then I want to colour match the stock interior colour and paint console with that.
I will experiment with a clear matte PPF over the colour to approximate the stock soft paint look/feel, but to left be virtually indestructible..
Finally, I will practice my leather trimming skills.

I like that wheel style and many companies make that similar design.

It's a small thing, but I prefer when the wheel bolt holes are integrated into the spoke bottom of the Ys rather than being between the Ys. When the wheel is designed with the bolts going between them the wheel has a circle in the center like a hub, which I think is less attractive than when done the other way. For comparison, just as an example, here's a Vorsteiner wheel designed the way I think looks better.

Though a different spoke design, my Forgelines are done this same way.

Ignore the flat tire (why it's on the lift)

Default New tires, NMautomotive mod for CarPlay, and back up camera

put on 4 Michelin pilot sport 4s for the summer.

thanks to all who recommended the NMautomotive mod. I wasn’t comfortable installing myself, so I reached out to Nick at NM and he recommended a shop about an hour from me. They ordered the part for me, and installed it along with a backup camera, which works with the manual trans. Having a backup camera for 12+ years I couldn’t go back to life without one. 72 degrees here in NJ, absolutely loved the drive home with the top down. I look for any reason to drive this thing, my wife is super confused why I keep offering to do kid pickup and drop offs, just want to get behind the wheel.

Great choice the NM unit is a game changer IMO makes the car so much more usable!! I know what you mean about the reversing camera. My other car has 360 camera and parking sensors and you can see the car from outside the car. Crazy tech then I drive the 911 and last night I scraped the front corner because I was on autopilot and didn't hear any beeps!!! Forgot about the lack of parking sensors.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the tyre choice as well, what was on there before?

pirellis, tread was fine but they were 2016 front 2017 rear. I got the car three weeks ago and it was low mileage ppi showed they were old tires so was expecting to swap quickly. Big difference on ride so far.
