Please advise on installing these, I've been looking at them myself.

Did you get them with the heated seats and airbags as well?

Thank you! I’ve got the Eibach’s sitting in the garage awaiting install. Still piecing together new strut mounts, bump stops, etc, so I can do it all at once.

I was initially thinking of doing 12mm all around, but might just jump up to the 15mm. Thanks!

12mm at the rear is not enough but it might be alright at the front. The Eibachs really made the ride a lot more compliant as well as improving the looks. Only downside is scraping on things but its worth it.

Here's a couple of pics to give you a better idea on the gap.

15mm rear.

7mm Front.

Default First Post!!! GoPro Enabled Rear License Plate Bracket

First Post - In March of '20 I moved up from an '18 BMW M2 to my '07 C2S.

I mainly get out on weekends with several trips per year to West Virginia and the Smokies. On previous trips, we often wished we had action camera's to capture the fun, but never took the time to make it happen. I'm going to fix that before our Spring trip coming up.

I purchased several action cameras, a tow hook front mount from Rennline, and several solid suction cup mounts for inside.

I wasn't sure how to get a rear view shot, and didn't want to rely on suction cups outside the car . . . . so I decided to see if I could use the license plate bracket. The issue with my car is that it has a V1 sensor head integrated just above the plate, so the stock bracket doesn't fit.

I had to design something custom, which I did using Fusion 360 and then printed it out on the 3D printer. I used a 1/4 20 GoPro mount on the lower license plate holes, and I think it came out pretty well.

Looking forward to trying these out - great spot to record audio and watch my buddies as they follow.

'07 C2S - new to me in March of '20.

Recent trip to WV . . . . yes we let a GT350 tag along with the 3 P cars.

CAD file of the bracket - see where the 1/4 20 hex bolts slot into the back of the bracket.

With the new GoPro Bracket Attached to the lower bolts. Note the V1 rear sensor so I can't use the stock bracket for the plate. The GoPro mounts are attached with 1/4 20 hex bolts that are locked into the bracket behind the plate.

No heat (easy to add later if I decide I want it) and no airbags- the seats BARELY fit without them, I dont think you could make them work with airbags and be tall.

Thanks for the information and that's a shame about the airbags. I wouldn't want to be without them.

New motor mounts, new air filter while the box was out to get to the MM's, fixed the upper console by the rear view mirror that the detailers broke, attached the windshield washer fluid hose that I forgot to last weekend when I r&r'ed the fluid tank. leather repair guy came out and fixed a tear in my seat.

I finally took off my front bumper to have it re-sprayed...only two years after I decided this is something I should do...better late than never

It is almost time to install the B16 Damptronic kit in my 997.2 C4S and I decided it needs adjustable camber strut mounts with bearings instead of new factory mounts. Sadly, they're about twice the cost. This is my three season daily.

What would you do?

997.2 C4S and Bilstein B16 Damptronic kit.

I just picked up a 997.2 pcm 3.0 and was looking into this. Are you still liking the Joyeauto? What backup camera did you go with and we’re you able to connect it to a manual transmission. I spoke to 9xx today, but they only have two shops that do work for them and I’m not sure I feel comfortable doing this work on my own yet.

I have the NM automotive version. If you can change your oil you can install this. Nonissue with a manual transmission. Rear camera is up to you, I went with the top rated one on Amazon but they have some that mount in the license plate light.
