lets check out the interior!
id recommend 12mm vs 15mm for fronts. I run 15mm.
ever consider the emc2 type B oem lip lip kit plus the newly offered wing inserts? would look awesome.

I've done:
New steering wheel
Black badges
Eibach lowering springs
Spacers
Michelin Pilot Sport 4s
Painted wheels black
X pipe on exhaust
NM Automotive Android Auto
Moshammer side skirts.
I'm thinking about changing the front spacers from 7mm to 15mm and I'm thinking about changing the seats and interior upholstery. Not sure yet though.

I know the emc2 front lip is very popular but it's not for me, I don't think it looks right on the 997. Plus I scrape the front all the time as it is.
I've not started the interior work yet, can't decide what to do if anything.

I have never liked the original multifunction steering wheel fitted to my 997.1 4S
A few days ago I decided to change it myself and bought a new OEM Porsche GT RS steering wheel, in my opinion perfect for my cockpit

I had a dent in the sill on one side so that made the installation a little more difficult. They have added two what look like OEM wheel arch liner fixings in the front face of the side skits and it looks very neat and almost OEM. The weather here is not great and my car is covered in mud, grit and dirt already so pictures today would be pretty useless but I do have a couple I took yesterday when I got home. How's this one for you?
NOTE: Narrow Body is 3M tape, I believe the widebody just replaces the removable bottom rocker panel and clips in.

you get some rubbing sometimes on full lock when on a slanted surface. I told my brother to get 12mm fronts on his. visually it looks the same but that extra 3mm can help in terms of driving.
Thanks for the advice, do you have issues with the 15mm out front? I've read others run it OK.

I would think they did it as an additional fixing point and proped the back section off while the adhesive cured.
I'm really happy with then.

I Installed the Numeric Racing shifter in my 997.2, which was an easy project. However, it did take a bit of time to work through
all the fasteners that attach the center console to the vehicle. I watched several YouTube videos on the procedure
first, which was very helpful. One thing that I did was to use a sharpie to draw sketches of the different console parts
on a piece of cardboard and then pushed the screws into their corresponding locations on the cardboard. All the screws are similar (T-20's) but some
are longer than others. The cardboard trick helped speed the installation process.
As for the shifter, it's a quality piece of hardware that truly improves the shifting experience. As most know, there are three settings to select the length of shifter throw. I started setting the shifter to it longest throw. This is similar to the stock throw length, but you still get a very solid feel while not increasing the effort needed to select a gear. I imagine this might be close to the GT3 shifter option. I next tried the middle setting, which reduces the throw and increases effort slightly, but feels even more solid. I'll probably keep it on this setting for the time being. I don't see myself using the shortest throw.
