Nice work Just had mine cleaned, tested and reinstalled,77,000 miles.
1/2 were dripping so Raby is right.

It can't hurt to replace high-mileage injectors, and in full disclosure, I had mine replaced at 87k miles but that was in the process of trying to track down a fuel pressure leakdown situation. It might also be a good idea if your oil analysis shows fuel dilution.

As a purely preventative measure, it's terribly expensive--especially if you're paying a shop the 8 or 9 hours of labor the book calls for.
This was my understanding as well. I asked my Indy about fuel injectors on the .1 and he said not to proactively change them unless I have a problem. He told me the same thing regarding chain tensioners, which I had also inquired about.

As you pointed out, if you're experiencing high fuel dilution in your UOA's and you're not regularly taking your car on short trips, it might be worth looking into it more. But it's an expensive and time consuming task for something that doesn't have a regular maintenance interval.

Next time my car is at my Indy, I might have him check the fuel trim levels and the camshaft deviation (chain tensioners) but as long as everything is within the specs it should be, I'm not going to change the fuel injectors nor the chain tensioners.

Set up a spare oil pan to be ready for a 1/2 qt extension. Will swap next oil change!

Passenger side window regulator! Not too bad DIY honestly. Hardest part was getting the door panel clips to pop out.

DIY'd up some semi solid motor and trans mounts with 30a silicone rubber, replaced my oil pressure switch because of a p1163 fault code, and performed my first oil service on the car. Adding 5w-40 plus Ceratec for piece of mind at my high mileage... have had great experiences with LiquiMoly products of all types. My old VWs love the MoS2 moly additive. Will likely run that or MolyGen oil in the 997 after this cycle with Ceratec.

Yeah, looking forward to an oil analysis. Fit my criteria of 5w-40, easy to purchase locally (picked up 20qt), inexpensive, and A40 spec.
