Installed numeric cables, a new ebrake (mine was worn), shimmed all the play out of the shifter with 0.005” brass shim stock, GT3 bushings and hardwired in a lightning charger.

Default Detour

This is what winter looks like in Cairns Queensland Australia, today. Short drive to the hardware, mountain interlude, then to the grocery store

Installation wasn’t difficult, but it was a first so took longer that in would for some with more experience. They provided clear installation instructions. Image quality is excellent and also has grid lines.

pics included.

They pre wired the Porsche specific harness which allows for using existing Bose components- AMP. They preloaded the Porsche splash as well.

Great image quality

They sure are, they're generic auto store tips, sort of gives the rear of the car a pea shooter look.

I'm having trouble finding OEM or aftermarket tips to suit the PSE outlets.

I attempted to buy some knock off tips with carbon shield etc, with a view to adapt them to suit, but they sent 3 "correct" ones as per my order, and one that was completely different : (
3 out of 4 ain't bad, but useless for my application.

One of these is not like the others

Nice work!

Would love to know more about how/where you hard-wired the lightening charger.

Thx!

And I like to hear more about this: shimmed all the play out of the shifter with 0.005” brass shim stock, GT3 bushings.
Is this basically what Function First offers?
Same install?
Where did you get the shim stock and GT3 bushings?

Thanks!
